Watching the video after all these years still seems like it was just the other day,,, winning the world at the age when almost no one gave him a chance makes me respect "Sugar Boy" for his patience and resilience,,, thank God I was one of the few who believed in him, and even mentioning to him Joe Walcott who won a world title at thirty seven.

Underrated champion. He's a good fighter. I believe he beat Robin Reid years later who was also good. He's a nice boxer

Was always a huge Nigel Benn fan but what a story for Malinga. 36 years old, 9 defeats on his record, 4th attempt at a world title up against 8-1 on favourite Benn and this time he gets the win.

By this time nige had been in the ring with da man, robbie Simms, eubank x2, watson etc what do you expect? What a true warrior and what aa true champion, he will always be my favourite fighter, you know why, coz benn wasnt an out and out boxer, he loved as he would call it a good old year up!!!😅 old school fighter, unorthodox yes, but sheer power and determination yes , eubank better boxer yes , watson yes but benn ranks with da elite!
