Such a move was blocked by the EU for many years. Which also plundered UK waters and did not enforce regulation like the UK did. Hence our now tiny fleet. If farmers don't get subsidies to match EU farmers that is down to Parliament not Farage. Farage has made a major contribution toward the resotration of UK democracy.
