This American was so pleased and proud that Mr. Farage accepted invitatoin to the RNC convention. It delighted me to see Nigel and Donald smile and clasp hands, two very different business men, but kindred souls in their love of country. Each man the perfect voice in their time and place.

When the historians look back at this last 100+ years I'm sure their assessment of Nigel Farage and his impact on British and western democracies they will judge his role as pivotal in saving national democracies in the west, more important than Churchill even. I'm sure they will rank Nigel in importance second only to Oliver Cromwell in the last 400 years. Oliver Cromwell gave us democracy, Nigel has recovered it from where our neoliberal ruling elite had so disgracefully discarded over the last twenty years.

Cromwell Indeed was a great, misunderstood man. Thomas Carlyle's "The letters and Speeches of Oliver Cromwell" is a must read. Cromwell crushed Popery and the Divine Right of Kings. The heads of these serpents continued to writhe for a while but eventually perished forever! Cheers!

You are wrong, and its Farage's own fault for that. I realise this is 3 years after the fact but i could have told you the same the nanosecond he ran away from the Tories at the 11th hour. Brexit could and would ONLY have been delivered by the Brexit party. And because he ran from that fight to destroy the Conservative party he helped serve up the British people to it once again. He was like a general leading an army into a battle but then running away and turning it into a trap from which there was no escape. Farage knew that then and knows it now. In fact anyone who knows the Westminster Parliament, for that's what it should be called because its no legitimate government of the UK (as is) and hasn't been since 1649, knows that it detests the British people and would never surrender any control to it whatsoever under any circumstances. If you think the UK is in anyway shape or form democratic then you are under some very severe illusions.

I'm a superfan of Nigel Farage. He doesn't only help Great Britain and it's people, he shows the whole world how very important democracy and freedom is, to become successful, freedom is cherished, used in a sincere & honest, positive way. Saw this recommendation after watching Glenn Beck video, interview with Daniel Hannan. Here’s my comment from there... CONGRATULATIONS 🇬🇧 🎊🎈💥 Here in America, we’ve prayed and prayed. I’m a HUGE football 🏈 fan but, unlike the Super Bowl, Brexit really MATTERS!!! (I did play 9 seasons of “soccer” in my youth 🧐) Enjoy, but remember: around the world and throughout history, it’s been tyranny versus freedom in one form or another. The latter must be earned and forever defended, preferably without bloodshed. The entire West, and more, is facing a massive push by oppressors. You’re dealing with it; we’re dealing with it. Vigilance mustn’t give way complacency. The battle continues everywhere, bombs and bullets or no. 🇺🇸🇬🇧🙏🏻🙌🏻✌🏻

There are two sides to Nigel. He is a debate genius and gave 25 years of campaigning :-) In the debit column he licenced an internal coup in UKIP where the electable talent was purged (James, Wolfe, Evans, Carswell + after which many also fled (Reckless, John Reece Evans). The biggest casualty was the voter, could you vote for them after watching that?

UKIP was the third party in 2015, and was alone as a significant populist movement. Now UKIP is nothing, while populism surges across the globe. The problem was that it was always about Nigel. I still like him though, we are all flawed.

He was forced to leave UKIP because Gerrard Batten, the Leader of UKIP at that time sought to employ Tommy Robinson as his advisor. Nigel thought TR was the wrong influence for the party. Plus he went into semi retirement after the Referendum. Then came back because he was needed and formed The Brexit Party, which has turned out to be a good move.

Nigel´s horror dream is a soft Brexit. Why? If the British people have to pay the price for the Brexit and the weak and the sick British Pound then they expect that Britain would solve the immigration problem. But today even the Euro is booming and Britain has left the EU but EU Britain was the second important EU country - what a disaster? ANTWORTEN

Very few British politicians can go to the USA, speak their mind and be so welcomed as Sir Nigel is. Margaret Thatcher was the last conviction politician who did this (and of course was totally in tune with an earlier Republican POTUS - Reagan). I dismiss Blair for the lying two faced war criminal he is, someone who had no beliefs just an addiction to power by any means and the one who most deliberately shut down free speech on immigration as he opened our doors even wider.

at 4:30: "53% of the British people" - this statement is eloquent proof of how far removed the speaker is from an accurate appraisal of reality, when in fact only 27% of the British population (amounting to 37% of the electorate) voted for Brexit. among the votes actually cast and counted, those in favor of "Leave" were 52% (and the speaker didn't even quote that figure accurately).
