Yes. Mr "take back control" lied in more detail and at far greater length than anyone else at the centre of the Brexit campaign. Then he played the wittering bystander at GB News, if anyone was still listening to him by then. Let's treat him generously and award him the title of second hand car salesman of the 21st century, thus far. 😮🤭

The allure of Farage is that he's a good orator, undeniably one of the greatest if not the greatest campaigner in the history of UK politics, and he comes across as a normal bloke; unfortunately that's a veneer for the disgusting fascist politics that permeates his career. He uses dissatisfaction and anti-establishment sentiment to throw himself in front of you and proselytize nationalist politics disguised as civil, British, common sense - his unfortunate likability is only a distraction from the extremism he peddles.

Until Macron and friends are removed we have to accept the unacceptable till then, pity Le Pen didn't win as it would have helped a lot.

Funny joke about Stephen Milligan told by Bernard Manning. The official story is that his body was discovered with the woman's clothing and other apparatus usually described in the press, but that the police had also noted, but not disclosed, that he was also wearing a Man City outfit. However the police had not disclosed this detail in order to spare his family any further embarrassment.

This idea that there was some magic version of brexit that would avoid all the fairly obvious problems losing the trading benefits of EU membership would cause is completely for the birds. Brexit was always going to be brexit with all the problems it has caused. Ask the farmers and the fishermen and the students etc etc. Farage briefly mentioned Northern Ireland. Maybe because the refugees prefer to go to England. Because they have family living there. Others speak English but not French. They don't need an id card to work . They get benefits. The EU regulations on refugees are more strict. Lots of possible reasons why they only want to go to the UK. It cannot be stopped. It should be regulated so they can cross safely and get a fair process to check if they can be admitted. During this period they can stay in closed accommodation.
