Hi! Lovely recipe as always!! Is it possible to provide alternatives for alcohol? It’s easy with gelatin and meat but what can we replace alcohol with? (Due to religious diet restriction) x

Growing up we would make non-alcoholic punch using fruit juice or fruit sodas, usually "spiked" with something like ginger ale to give it zest and sparkle. I used to use imitation rum flavor as well sometimes to give it more flavor. Nigella isn't one to ever skip the alcohol so I'm afraid you'll just have to do some experimenting lol.

I completely cracked up when I heard you say you often drag your food back to your cave. I melted and smiled when I first saw your late-night fridge raids, like Martina Gedeck in one of my favorite films, Mostly Martha. Food with Heart is the key, and you balance skill and love of friends, family, and self so beautifully...for Mario wooed Martha with food and relaxed and passionate sensuality.
