Imagine if all black people all over the world went to go fight in the sahel (Niger, burkina faso, mali, guinea and chat) ?? just imagine if we understood how important this time is in history, because i believe this is an intersection, we either go to a whole new dynamic at least in west africa OR we go back to being exploited. Africans have been cooked by the hot African sun, their climate is enervating, meaning not conducive for hard work, for thousands of years they sat under shady trees doing very little. @@cynthiananje2421 African "leaders" have been far worse. Omar Al Bashir who has just been ARRESTED by the International Criminal Court for genocide, war crimes, murder, rape , torture, and other crimes against humanity for his crimes in Darfur, and these guys... Hissene Habre who carried out a frightening 40,000 politically motivated murders and there are documented cases of at least 200,000 tortures in Habre’s brutal eight year rule of Niger. Sekou Toure banned all opposition parties and declared his party the only legal party in the country; Toure ruled Guinea as ruthless dictator with no tolerance for opposition. General Sani Abacha characterized by massive looting and human right abuses such as the public hanging of political activist Ken Saro Wiwa. Idi Amin murdered around 500,000 Ugandans. Wanted for genocide by ICC, ex president of Ethiopia, Mengistu haile Mariam who murdered 2,5 million, and now lives the good life protected in Zimbabwe. Charles Taylor who ate 50 UN soldiers, executed 500 000, and participated in some of the most heinous and brutal crimes recorded in human history, and is now in jail for the rest of his life. Robert Mugabe starved 4 million to death, and displaced 5 million of his citizens who fled to other countries, and he destroyed the Zim economy until his army revolted against him. Jose Eduardo Dos Santos guilty of human rights abuses and political oppression. 70% of the population of Angola, lives on less than $2 a day, Francisco Macías Nguema ordered the death of entire families and villages, he executed members of his own family, one third of the population fled the country, he ordered every boat in the nation sold or destroyed and banned all citizens from the shoreline to prevent more people from escaping his terror, and of course Rwandan leaders who instigated the hacking to death of 800 000 people in 2 months in the famous year of 1994 ..

In all the sahel African countries there were military coups people become even poorer. France is just a scapegoat for all the problems of this poor unfortunate mainly illiterates people that are easily manipulated like average watcher of this propaganda channel. It will be also good in a ways that this people like elsewhere will quickly realize that their problem is not the west but their lack of education and corrupt officials and dictators and military. France also gave them mines and all the technology to mine in the first place and has also fund all the deposits in the first place. without France or other potential western country they wouldn't even know that uranium exist there. Of course capitalism is exploitative in the nature but caste system is maybe even worse. Niger is also totally independent on mostly westerners help which is 2 billions of usd a year. What about Viktor Yanukovych, was not he removed violently by western American backed agitators? Should he also be reinstated? Since that coup has lead to many deaths, even before the events on Feb 2022, including the downing of the commercial airlines, is this coup one of the good ones or one of the bad ones?

Victor Yanucovych was a Russian puppet, and Ukrainian people could not let him sell the country to Russia. Now Russia tries to overtake Ukraine by force, killing citizens, ruining cities, causing genocide and even stealing children. You have no idea, listening to pro-Russian propaganda, what kind of terrorist fascist country the Russia is, and what an awful genocide its doing in Ukraine. And it's doing the same in Africa, keeping dictators in place. You are now waving Russian flags? You will see later what will happen in your country.

It's actually pretty simple if you are not brainwashed by Russian and leftist propaganda. France has very minor economical interests in Africa. France was buying 18% of its uranium to Niger, they don't want to sell it anymore, fine. There are other sellers. And Niger has only 4% of the world production. Niger matters, or was mattering a lot for France because it is our main military base against jihadists in Africa. If we leave Niger (and we will), the West will practically stop fighting jihad in Africa, meaning more risk of terrorism in Africa and Europe, and more migrants as well.

Very interesting take from Firstpost, I'm impressed with how much more scope, detail and nuance there is here compared to the mainstream UK/US press. Those who have histories of being colonised know and dare to point out colonialism's evils and the realities of how it functions. It's very telling how it is so often omitted, downplayed or glossed over in most of the western press... very telling indeed. So little of the news here in Britain makes a point out of how much resources are extracted from Niger and how little profit given back, very few offer any condemnation of France's poor handling of the matter or even mention the term neo-colonialism
