I could write a book about how incompetent Tinubu is but I could also summarise the whole book into these four words "Tinubu is a JOKE."

I told you people on Instagram and TikTok that Tinubu did not go to France for loans and a lot of people abused me, I said that he went there to sell Nigerian sovereignty to France as Francophone countries are chasing them out of their countries and they need another country to continue their business as usual. Who throw party for a borro borro person? Can you do so? Now I have been vindicated after he signed MOU with France to allow France to have right over our mineral resources and other important things such military bases in Nigeria. Tinubu has sold Nigeria to France period

You are wrong. Flatly wrong. France used to be the third largest foreign investor in Nigeria in the past until the de-industrialisation that took place in the 80s and 90s. Peogeot Automobile, ENI petroleum and Michelin tyres are a few examples of the French companies that have contributed to Nigeria's greatness in the past . This is an attempt to bring back the French investments that Nigeria used to enjoy in the past.
@rotimikayode1072Ай бұрын
Nigeria and French relations have always been about business and trade. Nothing more. It has never been the same as what had happened in the Francophone countries.
@iamprincesunnyАй бұрын
@ You read my comment without proper understanding. You just want to throw encounter argument. You have no idea about France bad influence in west Africa. Both Nigeria and neighboring countries have been under going through a lot of disasters caused by the France for years. Seeing them embracing tinubu like no other now is as a result of their inability to continue their atrocities in those francophone countries and the best option is Nigeria. Their oil companies left Nigeria almost 2 years ago and now all of a sudden they want to come back and invest in Nigeria. As if you don’t have a common sense to see their hidden agenda.

Our constitution, our judiciary, corruption our bad policies cannot attract any serious foreign investors in Nigeria until our leaders fix all these lacunas....... We need a genuine separation of power...... This padi-padi government has been a laughing stud all over Africa and abroad.

I am in utter disbelief at how Tinubu is getting just about everything wrong. If this was university he would be expelled. If this was work, he would be sacked. What are we doing? Why do we need everything to collapse before we see the dire situation we are in?
@rotimikayode1072Ай бұрын
France used to be the third largest foreign investor in Nigeria behind the UK and US until the de-industrialisation of Nigeria which took place in the 80s and 90s. The young people showing misgivings here don't know anything about French and Nigerian relationship. Our relationships have never been like what had happened in the Francophone countries. It has always been about trade and business with no political undertones or involvement.

The biggest 'investors' of any country are its people. Except you see them as unimportant slaves, it is their human capital and capabilities that drives a nation's development. Stabilize the economy, provide cheap and affordable energy and power, strengthen the judiciary and assure and increase trust in the system and administration the people are to have for it. Then you would not even need to keep pacing aimlessly in other countries looking for elusive 'investors', they will naturally gravitate to you. Buhari did all the aimless trips, but where are the so-called investors? Those same investors would rather investors in smaller countries like Benin Republic than an unstable economy like this one.

Fostering diplomatic ties is important, it’s disheartening to see President Tinubu prioritize appeasing Macron and France over building Nigeria’s economic self-reliance. Opening a Zenith Bank in Nigeria and a UBA branch in France is symbolic but lacks real impact on solving Nigeria’s pressing economic challenges, especially the naira’s instability. Countries like El Salvador are leveraging Bitcoin (BTC) to break free from the cycle of IMF and foreign debt dependency, paving the way for financial independence. Nigeria, as Africa’s largest economy, has the potential to lead the continent in adopting BTC and blockchain technology to combat inflation and empower its citizens. Instead, Tinubu’s focus on pleasing a former colonial power reflects poor leadership and a lack of forward-thinking. Nigeria has a chance to pioneer financial innovation in Africa and free itself from debt peonage. This visit, unfortunately, feels like a step backward rather than the bold move Nigerians desperately need.

There is a problem, big one for that matter with Nigerian Journalists. What is the problem? They are too emotionally led and hormonally driven. They interject so much that it feels they invited their guests to come and listen to them the anchormen and presenters. Ambassador Keshi has so much wealth of knowledge and experience to give us, but the TV anchorman Sambo would not allow him to. Sambo should have allowed the man to speak and educate us, but he j Kept interjecting most annoyingly. This is also the problem with the likes of Chamberlain and Shewu (Channels), Abatti. Sambo etc at Arise. These lot should perhaps endeavour to learn the basics and rudiments of the business from seasoned professionals like Charles Aniagolu honestly

Honestly speaking Nigeria economy was destroyed by President buhari. Buhari is the worst president that Nigeria ever have but now the northerners are complaining but this is the same northerners that fought Senator Abaribe when he was telling Buhari to do what is right for Nigerians. Allow president Bola Tinubu to do his job
@adewaleadewole3701Ай бұрын
So because Buhari was bad we should also allow Tinubu to run the country aground? Argue with fact and tell me one decision or policy this government have made and working for the benefits of the citizens..who deserve more salary increment than the teachers/ lecturers,but even supporters kept quiet when judges are been settled with bogus take home pay . Are we okay at all
