Thanks Sassy for this video. The problem now in uk is because of the lockdown passport office was closed all this time and luckily reopening on the 13th April. There is a backlog of over 18,000 passports awaiting renewal. I am coming to Nigerian in June and I know I will not be able to get my passport renewed then. I am therefore really looking to uses this new ETC. So please keep loading any new information. I love your sight.

Do we pay for the temporary passport even when the reason is that the passport office does not have the main passport booklets available, despite having paid for the main passport. If that is the case it is unfair to expect us to pay 60 dollars on top of having to pay for the main one, when the fault lies with them.

Yes you can travel to Nigeria with Ur US passport but have ur old expired Nigeria passport with u and the form which u use to apply for the Nigeria passport in the Embassy

Do you know that they confiscate your cellphones while in Nigerian embassy abroad,after you pay the required fee they tell you to pay cash to the cashier and they will give you receipt for official fee,the unofficial fee is been shared amongst the embassy staffs. The Nigerian embassy abroad are all scammers pretending to assist the masses but only looking forward to milk you. They make you wait for 5 hours or more to just show you that you have visited a world class embassy with some thiefry elements of surprise awaits you. They always claim no booklets for the passports,the booklets are been imported from an Asian country.

Do you hold a Nigerian passport and are you travelling with family who all have Nigerian passports or valid visas? If yes, ensure you plan your trip to get an updated passport while in Nigeria before returning to the UK. You do not need an ETC if your passport is not expired, lost or stolen. You can travel into Nigeria even if it's a day left to the expiration date by the day you arrive the Nigerian border.
