I expected a modern ferry with 2 decks at least for this journey not an open canoe style boat in 2022. You also expected to see the Nigerian Navy patrol boats with emergency stations with rescue lifeboats as an emergency response if something happens. This is a great video showing great development potentials for Nigerian business men from the diasporas to take over this industry and invest heavily in modernising it as a credible international travel routes between Nigeria and our neighbours. Nigerians would also benefit from building a 500 rooms big hotel closer to the water for diasporas to lodge in for holidays when you arrive in BenIn republic. I used to enjoy going to that country for shopping trips as a student. The currency was good when you convert the naira in those day and their yogurts was amazing I still remember the taste decades later. I always sent by Road though. I will never sit for 2 hours in those open boats putting my live in the hands on those life jackets. Federal republic of Nigeria must do more and better as the richer and bigger brother. Investing a few billion naira in that route will generate incomes for our collective economies and promote intra African trade too.

Thank you for your contribution but the Lagos market isn’t ready for it. People who commute this route often cannot afford it. However, you and your group can rent a boats or yatch from Kampari tours. Budget is between 250k- 400k.

Buhari can't be interested in that because cows are not involved. He will rather borrow money to do railway to bring in more Fulani terrorists from Niger republic whereas the western border has more economic benefits for the country.

It's quite cheaper to travel by boat than road. I went to Benin Republic by road few days ago. I couldn't cross freely just to do a simple transaction and return home despite the United Nations policy. I had pay 3k for a bike to take me through back door. I also paid 6k naira for 5k CFA to purchase the sim with Momo. It was an enjoyable journey but the extortion was something else.

Yep, you're right. Bikes are way cheaper in Benin Republic. That's why you won't be seeing lots of cars there but in cities like Cotonou, u go see plenty cars
