I will strongly suggest Our government should be very careful signing any documents like this. Because our government don't really read most of the documents before signing, which might lead to them signing away Nigeria to slavery. We need to be very careful..

Secondly, we keep signing and signing. What is the positive impact to Nigeria economy? Instead the USA benefits more. Someone in the comments said this. What are they coming to partner with us. ? 😔 Just imagine we are signing documents without involving the right stakeholders who should be involved.. What is wrong with us? Now we don't know the amount and we are signing.

Why do some of you vomit crass ignorance in public like this. The US is a major export destination for a lot of our locally made products and a big source of foreign exchange earnings for our country.

@@rotimikayode1072 Why must you insult people before responding. We must diversify especially from the US. They can delay our development and sanction us if they so please.

@@nusaibahibraheem8183 Our development is not in hand of any country out there. This is about Nigeria seeking foreign capital inflows in the forms of foreign direct investments which are badly needed right now for the good of the economy. If China and India are still looking for investments from the US, is it Nigeria that shouldn't do the same. I am sorry for the insult, but it appears you really don't understand the issues.

We earn a lot of forex from the US through our export activities and some companies in the US are already considering investing heavily in our power sector. It is disheartening to see some unpatriotic fellows saying all sorts of nonsense here.
