The girl playing from the left (especially in the second half) is a very good player. The forward line is good, the goalkeeper is good but the defense and midfield is not good enough. There's no coordination among the back four, the holding midfield (defensive midfield) position is literally missing. I can't see the impact of Coaching in the defense and midfield. If this team plays like this at the World Cup, they may not make it past the group stage. The flaws seen during the last Women's AFCON in Morocco are still glaring in this team. Honestly, I'm not impressed at all. This is one of the poorest female Nigerian teams I've seen in over a decade. The squads that had Mercy Akide, Perpetual Nwokocha years ago are miles and miles better than this squad with all due respect. I hope they improve. Nigerian female Football is declining steadily. The Super Falcons are no more the best in Africa ! THIS TEAM NEEDS TO IMPROVE EVEN IF IT WOULD MEAN SEARCHING FOR MORE QUALITY PLAYERS. Some players from the last U-20 Female Junior World Cup are good enough to play in the Super Falcons. Apologies if my opinion sounds harsh. This is just my humble opinion though. I wish the Super Falcons all the best ahead of their next major Tournament.🙌🏽

This game just goes to show that the super falcons can beat any team. There was real support in the box unlike the first game where the support wasn't really there and the attacking player had to take a long shot. They just need more games to understand themselves better and pass the ball to the freest player when in the box. The goal came from a pass to the free striker. Therefore, the striker should try to run into the vital areas of their opponent freeing themselves for a decisive pass(positioning). Overall, if the falcons continue this way, they will go very far in the world cup. By the way, the falcons' goal was a beauty. Keep it up girls!

Sloppy on the ball. The uswnt largely outclassed the super falcons on pace. We just couldn't outrun them. Onumonu is probably an upgraded version of this #7 falconets player (Okechukwu or so). If there were better strikers, she deserves only 10 minutes of play until she improves. IMO, Imuran and Demehin were good, and perhaps, fit to be regular starters. I think they tried (factoring out the own goal part). Rasheedat Ajibade, to me, is beginning to look like an overrated player. Maybe I'm wrong, but I saw nothing spectacular that she did yesterday. Overall, I think it's too much expecting highly from the super falcons who were playing the #1 team in the world. They don't even have their regular starters, maybe about five or so. I say we look at individual input, and team work rate, not the scores. For me, they played well yesterday; given the strength of the squad, the quality of the coach, the venue (they were playing away from home, you saw how filled the stadium was), and the strength of the opponent. Hopefully, things get better. The second match was obviously better than the first. It's like they picked it up last night from where they stopped on Saturday night. It could as well have been a draw, perhaps.. the second goal; the goal keeper must have thought it was going off target. By the time she realized it wasn't, it was already too late.

You probably are an upgraded version of Michael Johnson. Onumonu is a brilliant and technical player but not a top 9. She is best played as the supporting striker. She is usually 1 againt 4 with nil support yet she still drops few players. The issue with your type is that you expect strikers to score from the moon.
