Ethiopia was not colonized by italy there was just an occupation which lasted 5 years and people were fighting throughout. Ethiopia is also one of the oldest nations to accept Christianity (even before italy) and is the origin of coffee. Also I am really glad you guys liked our food. Young girl, please read your history books. Ethiopia has never been colonized and Italian were tried twice with 40 years gap and they were defeated by Ethiopian warriors twice. This Ethiopian Victory over the white colonizers created the initiative for other African countries to became independence. Good to see you enjoying my home land food, the beard is actually called Enjera. It’s made of teff(a very fine grain only grows in Ethiopia and Eritrea) it is sour because it’s fermented which is gluten free and very healthy. And Ethiopia is the only country in Africa has never been colonised. The Italians tried but never got us. They got defeated by the Ethiopians in the battle of adwa. And Ethiopia is the origin of coffee, that’s why we drink a lot of coffee not because of Italians… the Italians import coffee from us.
