NIGERIAN WEDDING Cake Presentation for Bakers

In this video I am going to be teaching you how to make a wedding cake presentation or speech. In a typical nigerian wedding, the baker of the wedding cake may be required to do a presentation or talk about the cake.
And over time, I have gotten requests from Bakers asking to know how to go about doing a wedding cake presentation or how to know what to say when called to talk about their cake at a wedding.
Since this is a practice that is still prevalent in some areas and regions in Nigeria and I believe in other countries I have decided to do this video to teach you how to go about it and also in celebration of Nigerian independence Day which happens to be today, October 1st.

This is just wonderful and timely, I made the 61st independence cake for Nigeria embassy here where I'm based last week. When the Ambassador was about to cut the cake, I just heard him saying where I was sitting, who made this cake? She should come and present it to us. I was panting and I ran to the stage, spoke for 50seconds and I ran back. I wasn't used to that, because the Westerners don't do that. Thank you so much

Hello Zertomum Aji, You can do them both at the same time and make each one brief to maximise the time you would be given. Talk about the traditional cake and then move swiftly to the wedding cake with the details and their significance. These could be cultural, religious, or social-based. Hope this helps.
