Disinformation? You mean disinformation like: Biological processes for non-biological processes. No evidence. Consciousness from non-consciousness. No evidence. Life from non-life. No evidence. Complex information systems like the DNA double helix forming themselves in primordial soup? Yet After 4 billion years of refining, purifying and perfecting by the forces of evolution, they cannot form themselves without the directed processes of the cell . All these things need to be able to happen before life can spontaneously come into existence. I suppose that's the reason why evolution is so popular. Facts and evidence never get in it's way. The movie claims that the Earth is 6000 years old, but Derrick makes the point that if that were true, that no stars or galaxies should be visible beyond 6000 light years. The astronomer tries to defend this by saying that "a light year is a measure of distance, not time." It doesn't matter... it is the length of time required for light to travel a year, so this statement is so wrong. I'm just shocked this is allowed on KZbin

Wow, you seriously decided to drop everything and give a sermon in the middle of your movie. I just wanted to watch a silly movie! :( I don't mean to be the "ACKTCHUWALLY" type, but, white sclerae are indeed observed in other species, including gorillas (there was a gorilla that made his rounds online a while back who had white sclerae, who everyone was calling handsome). Yeah, there were a lot of racists in the past. But evolution does not condone it. We are one species. Those same racists who put human beings in zoos tried justifying it by arguing that humans had evolved from multiple different ancestors across the world independently--which we know for a fact isn't the case. That shit is something we call "pseudo-science", and there was a lot of it at that time. Currently, we know that there's "race" in terms of how it affects medicine, and how much eumelanin is in the skin to protect from UV rays. But that's pretty much it. But while we're on the subject, did you know that Christians during that time would try to justify racism using the bible? In Genesis 4:11-16, after Cain had murdered Abel, and his crime was discovered, God leaves a 'mark' on him. Millennia later, after the African slave trade began in North America, protestants started teaching that dark skin was that very "Mark of Cain". They would use this as justification for enslaving the people brought over. Sorry if this sounded like a whataboutism, it's just, well, Christianity isn't so squeaky-clean innocent of this as it's made out to be. Some of you will say that those assholes were wrong, and deserve to be discredited. And I agree. And the same goes for those Human Zoo dickheads from the 1800s. Racists will use literally anything to try to justify their racism. But the fact is, racism is an inherently irrational thing with no reasonable justification no matter where on the isle you are. "The Lightyear is not a unit of time, it's a unit of distance." Yes. We know. Nobody was saying it wasn't. And lest we forget, lightyears are defined as "the distance light can travel in a vacuum over 1 Earth year". So if you send a photon from Earth to Alpha Centauri (the closest star to us), which is 4.367 lightyears away, then it would reach Alpha Centauri after 4.367 Earth years have elapsed. The Andromeda galaxy is 2.537 million lightyears away, but is large enough, and close enough that it would actually be visible with the naked eye, so long as you aren't living in an area with tons of light pollution. So the photons that hit your eyes are starting over two and a half million lightyears away, and are travelling at 1 ly/y, so logically, by the time the light from Andromeda reaches our eyes, 2.537 million years had passed. Which I dunno about you, but that sounds like a little more than 6,000 years to me. I mean, I'm no mathematician. I'm just a jackass in a KZbin comment section.

Actually, the theory of evolution has racist roots. Charles Darwin, who created the theory of evolution, believed that black people were less evolved than white people and closer to their ape ancestry. You can't escape that fact of evolution. Now, there have been racists who try to use the Bible to justify their racism, but it doesn't work because of one simple verse... neither Gentile nor Jew, male nor female, slave nor free, but you are all ONE in Christ Jesus.... God created everyone and loves everyone.

@@saltandlight316 Darwin was wrong about a lot of things, sure. Good thing science advances :-) Evolutionary theory / the modern synthesis is *not* synonymous with Darwinism. Evolutionary biology/ genetics demonstrates all humans are related. There are still Christians today, and hate groups today, who utilize the Bible to justify their racism. There are still Christians today who think that the curse that God placed upon Cain was that he turned him into a black man. *No scientific theory* encourages or promotes racism, and no scientific theory deals with morality, what is good or bad, etc.

😂 loved this! The dino chase scene was hilarious 🤣 I was laughing again at the credit roll😂 nice mini film guys! 😉 The ark and the creation museum are really something to behold! Our family loved the experience! Can't wait to come down again someday and bring others 🥰 God is so good! I hope over time more people can realize that creation and science don't have to be enemies. They do work together more often than people think. Science helps prove the Bible true on many occasions and the Bible explains and supports science very often as well. People don't have to be on one side or the other. Science doesn't have to be completely wrong for the Bible to be right. And the Bible doesn't have to be wrong for most of science to be right either. We are nothing but humans. Limited by our mental capacity to grasp and understand the universe we can only get so far as humans. Imagine all we don't yet know. Imagine how little we ACTUALLY comprehend!!! Yet given our limited knowledge and limited ability to even comprehend the vastness of even our own universe people still deny the possibility of God?! The same question can be posed to non believers as is posed to believers... How do you KNOW that God's not real? You can't know. If you believe there is no God and everything was created basically by accident in the big bang theory (not even mentioning the rest of outer space!!!) That everything was created by chance/accident/ random events etc then what's the harm in believing God is real? That doesn't mean we have to stop studying science. It comes with literally no draw backs! So for just a second let imagine (for non believers) that God is real... If he is and you don't believe that would turn out badly right?!If He's not real and you die then so what? What did you lose by believing? Nothing... But what you could lose by not believing is eternally detrimental 😞 As a Christian I can assure you, we don't say this out of superiority, snark or benefit.... We say this out of love 💕 we don't want to see anyone miss eternity! We want all our brothers and sisters to be with us. Yes, I'm sure you have met "Christians" that have been rude to you, demeaned you, judged you, and so on. And for that I am sorry. I am sorry you had to experience that type of treatment that God has not taught. That is not the behavior they should be doing as Christians and I'm sorry you have experienced a person gone astray from the teachings of God. Does God have laws? Absolutely. But is it our place to shun people who break those laws? Absolutely not! ANYONE is redeemable! Someone who lives a life contrary to Christ's teachings but eventually sees the light and accepts Him will still be saved. Meanwhile you could have that judgey "Christian" lady that sits in that pew every Sunday that treats people terrible turning people away from God due to her treatment of them and I can assure you God will favor the sinner that accepted him and changed his ways before that snarky church goer that turned you from Him! So rest assured.... God does not tell his people to treat anyone badly. It is NOT our place! It is our place to tell the truth and bring people His word. It's your job to decide. Regardless of what you decide we still love you. It may make our hearts sad if you reject God because we don't want to see you lost for all eternity. But that's your choice, not ours. We are to love you still. So while I do see a lot of non believers in this comment thread, I just wanted to say I love you, God loves you and we want nothing more than your eternal life to be filled with love and happiness in the presence of our Lord. But regardless of your decision we love you anyways 💕 So for believers and non believers alike I would definitely encourage you to visit the ark and the creation museum! If you only have time/money for one I would encourage the creation museum. It might be just the key to answering any questions you may have. God bless.

this video is infuriating and full of falsehoods. "That's their bias." "It shows their worldview." What on earth do you think this entire thing is? Also, depicting Jim as a godly figure (omnipresent, omnipotent, all-powerful, etc.) could be considered a form of idolatry, even if done in a dream for the sake of storytelling. This entire "film" is blatant plagiarism from Night at the Museum and extremely uncreative. If you're going to lie, why not make it interesting at the very least? This video also shows extreme disrespect for victims of suffering by using images depicting that suffering to push an agenda that those victims did not consent to. It trivializes and commodifies the reality of the pain that is inherent to life. The explanation of Lucy and evolution also shows an extreme lack of understanding of what evolution is. There is no stratographic evidence of a worldwide flood. The use of someone's mother's death as a way to convince them to join your religion is an abuse tactic that people often use to keep victims in abusive relationships. I believe that religion can be helpful to people, but not like this.
@astroza_science
@astroza_science Жыл бұрын
well, that's your bias. jokes aside. It's OBVIOUSLY a parody of Night at the Museum. Jim is not depicted as God, the guard is dreaming. The thing with Lucy was ok, this is a 30 min movie, don't expect vast amounts of detail. And at AiG they have a very good understanding of what evolution is. stratographic evidence? no, but stratigraphic evidence? yes. "I believe that religion can be helpful to people", see? that's your bias. (We) They do not do this because it's only "helpful" to people, its because it's the only option they have to have peace with God and salvation from eternal damnation. On another note, "The use of someone's mother's death as a way to convince them to join your religion is an abuse tactic that people often use to keep victims in abusive relationships", I don't even know where to start with this one. They only used that example to answer a question a lot of people have, and it's a very personal an emotional problem usually. I don't see how is that an "abuse tactic". Can the death of someone be used wrongly? obviously. Was it used wrongly here? No. By that logic (or the extension of it) people should NEVER mention the death of someone.

@@astroza_science'the thing with Lucy was okay' No, it most certainly was not :-( this 'museum' explains to its visitors that the australopithecines (of which over 300 specimens have been discovered so far) were 'knuckle walkers'... They were most definitely not knuckle walkers. They were bipedal. This is not a matter of opinion. People can visit a proper Natural History Museum for free and learn actual facts about nature and life, rather than visiting this farce full of lies and wasting their money while doing so. This place teaches kids, and ignorant adults, incorrect information concerning a lot of subjects. Also, they have been repeatedly misrepresenting biological evolution in so many different ways and for so many years now it's just beyond ridiculous. So, no, they do not understand biological evolution and how it works. Either that, or they simply choose to lie about the subject. Definitely not cool :-(

"The Big Bang model has a miracle." Any scientific theory is a finite acount of the universe. When Copernicus made his Sun centered Cosmology, the Sun and the planets were all there was to be considered. the Stars were just something they didn't know about. But, as they realized the stars were suns also, then you have to account. The Big Bang model doesn't mean the universe came from nothing. There could have been infinite big bangs before ours; and, there'll probably be infinite big bangs after ours goes away billions of trillions of years from now.

I do believe that the Bible confirms an older earth period, but I don’t believe anything “evolved”, or that God used an evolutionary process. I do believe that after the fall of Lucifer and the war in Heaven, Satan and his angels were cast to earth BEFORE the creation of man in God’s image. I also believe that event led to a catastrophic extinction level event of prehistoric life, putting the earth into a chaotic state of floods, etc. After the earth BECAME void (Genesis 1:2), I believe that is when the 6 days of creation occurred. Now, the question is, whose timeframe was that 6 days? God’s or ours?

@@crosscutofficialThere is more evidence for evolution by natural selection than even gravity and certainly more than anything found in the bible.
