The three old men are veteran actors. The short one, Mickey Rooney is a former child star who was a teen idol/heartthrob in the 40s and made over 300 hundred movies in a career that spanned almost NINETY years. he began his career at 17 months as both his parents were vaudevillians, he became one too. Dick Van Dyke (Cecil) is the only one still alive, and the man is one of my fave actors and heroes/inspirations. He has done everything you can think of, singing, dancing, acting, writing, producing, creating, comedy, radio, film etc. he had various sitcoms even in the black and white days of television, his self titled sitcom is a gem! my fave sitcom of all time! let's just say if you had half the success and career he's had, you'd be unstoppable.

Dick Van Dyke must have had so much fun playing a bad guy from a long career being such likable characters, like Burt from Mary Poppins. Even though he still comes off so likable in this, you can't really hate or dislike him, lol.

This franchise was great. I like the sequal too. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Your sea salt about the ocean exibit will be quenched in the second film. It might even exceed the 1st in your mind. They were so funny, had great casting, had interesting characters and had a decent sound track. Great writing too. They are great for getting a younger audience interested in history and museums. If I thought a museum was going to be an experience like this I would be so excited for every museum field trip as a kid. The franchise has that charm, wit, and heart that old family movies from the early 2000s had. All while staying interesting for a child audience at that time. For adults too. Robin Williams never disappoints in bringing a smile to my face. The 3rd film would be one of his last. He died in August 2014. The 3rd film released in December 2014. So he was rarely in it. Only had time in the begining stages of developement. The 3rd film is easily the worst but still an ok film. It just lacked the creativity and charm of the 1st two. There is only so many ways you can improve upon a great piece of art. The more you do the smaller that number becomes. At least in my opinion.

12:50 "Ah G, Owen Wilson's a cowboy." Y'all need to watch Shanghai Noon from 2000. Him and Jackie Chan star in it and guess what, he's a cowboy in that. It's an extremely fun movie. Just now realized that Gaius Octavian is the director from Tropic Thunder that gets blown up. Also never realized this was directed by Shawn Levy.

R.I.P Robin Williams. Night At The Museum 3 was his last ever movie, and while Teddy liked to play jokes with Larry, Teddy still remains one of his most loving and comforting characters. "Smile, dear boy. It's sunrise." Still really hits you hard in the feels, knowing what Robin was really going through on the inside, and also remembering that he is no longer here.😢
