Love the night dive. Amazing how tame the puffers were. We eat em in North Carolina. Delicious. Long ago I did lots of night scuba off the coast of Maine. It was other worldly. Once we settled on bottom, we always turned off the lights and marveled at the total blackness. Then we'd wave our hands and cause a fireworks display from the luminescent plankton. And just one time we had a school of squid join us. They were attracted to our lights and were bumping into them. Crazy. Too old for that now, so I'm depending on you. Keep em coming.

Thanks for sharing Will's channel. Love night diving. It's a different world down there at night. Also cool when there is bioluminescence. Cool to turn off the light and let your eyes adjust. Also, neat trick is when the little worms start following your light is to hold the light on a coral head and watch the coral "eat" the worms. Did not realize you could harvest those Spanish lobster at night.

Great episode as always, no critics yet hahah, keep it up and thank you for sharing these amazing moments
@mehdish32 жыл бұрын
commenting as i'm watching like always, that was a cuttlefish indeed. Calamars have a longer body, pointy, triangular shaped head and longer tentacules. Their color is usually different too, if not camouflaged they look a bit reddish, thats why where i'm from, we call them "the satans of the sea" They also use their body to propulse themselves (we even study them in "rocket science"), unlike a cuttlefish that's more likely to swim with it's tentacules.
