My friends have this version but in the 1.6. And even the 1.6 is punchy. They've done 30,000 kms so far and the engine has loosened up so nicely and their average is now 8.4 litres per 100kms versus 10.4 when it was new. My parents Rav4 uses 9.8 to 10 and it has 100,000 kms so the Chery uses less fuel. The 2 litre Tiggo 8 must feel so quick if the 1.6t already feels so punchy.

Mmmh, suprising considering that one would expect the Rav4 tob beat the Chery on consumption🤔. I am not a big fan of the 1.6T but it is much better than many at its price point

@sebuwam The Toyota is only light on fuel if it's a hybrid. Their naturally aspirated engines are not economical at all.
