Night Fishing for Big Walleye from Kayak Menominee River Michigan Wisconsin Border (Spring 2018)

Hit the Menominee River in-between Marinette Wisconsin and Menominee Michigan. On this adventure I found the night fishing was more productive for me. I tried a few spots on the Peshtigo river Saturday during the day but only caught suckers so I stuck to the night fishing on the Menominee.

On this river you can keep one right now if you have a Michigan or Wisconsin licence. May 5th - March 1st you can keep 5 walleye.

Did you get a Dry suit ? Out alone at night in frigid water... you are breaking all the rules ... be safe brother!

Thanks I love it. I enjoy fishing out of my kayak more than the boat. It feels more challenging and rewarding.

yeah LOL. I have 5 different nets at home but the one that fits in my kayak the best is that one. I'll pick up a nicer one soon.
