Caught a couple things. Mulligan - You don't shuffle back your set aside cards into the deck until you've drawn back up to 5. Beat Cop - Beat Cop can't ping for 1 damage until it is in play. And generally speaking, abilities on asset cards are not active or available until they are played and on the table. Attacks of Opportunity (49:30) - While you're engaged with enemies, if you take an action that isn't Fight, Evade, Resign, or Parley, each engaged enemy attacks you immediately (before resolving your action). So for example at the timestamp I linked, gaining a resource would cause the Ravenous Ghoul to ping you for 1 damage and 1 horror. This is actually where a lot of value from evading enemies comes from. HOWEVER, when you take an Activate action to use an action trigger ability on an asset (the arrow symbol), or take a Play action to play an event, if that ability or event has Fight/Evade/Resign/Parley/etc. in bold, then that activate or play action also counts as the bolded action. So for example, playing Backstab at 49:50 is both a Play and Fight action at the same time, so it does not trigger an Attack of Opportunity from the Ravenous Ghoul. This is probably the hardest rule to remember but until it becomes second nature, there should be some reminder text on your player reference card on the side with the listed actions.

@@spencerstabletop I really enjoyed your video. You took your time, and given how the game can be complex, you managed to make it clear and easy to follow. On top of the above errors mentioned, I'd also mention that since the Ghoul Priest has the monster trait, you should have inflicted 3 damages to it (1 base point + 1 from the machete + 1 from Lita Chandler). Beside the illegal stuff, I'd like to point out several things you could have improved in terms of choices: - During the draw/mulligan initial phase, you'll want to look for the best assets. Unless the characters' speciality depends heavily on it, I never keep skill cards and rarely events. You rarely have 5 ressources available and assets are expensive/long term bonuses, you better play them ASAP. Once enemies are engaged with you, playing assets is not that easy... - Although some rare treachery cards (traps in "The Forgotten Age" campaign, in particular) will force you to inflict damage/horror on your allies, it's usually better to split your damage and horrors with your allies as long as you can. In particular when you know your ally is about to be replaced. That discarded Leo with no damage/horror on it was a waste of good ressources from my point of view :). - Not every character can use Burglary efficiently, but when you have 0 ressources, your knowledge value is 3, and the shroud value is 1, it's a must play (unless you're at the very very end of the last Agenda // playing in Hard or Expert mode) ! In particular if you have boosting abilities available that cost resources. I can't count the number of times I said "use burglary" in front of my computer when you were in the cellar :D - I saw you draw a card as your 3rd action out of 4. Considering there are weaknesses in your deck, it's always better to draw as first action just in case you draw a weakness, so you have actions left in order to deal with it... - You definitely want these 2 experience points that hospital debts cost you... Again, burglary was the solution here :)

You did well in just taking your time. There was a mistake around the 43 minute mark you discard the beatcop from hand to do a damage. Sadly that card needs to be in your Play area to perform that.

I have a couple questions! When I have a guard dog in play and an enemy is attacking does the damage default to the guard dog? Also, when my .45 automatic is out of ammo is it discarded or can I place more resources? If so, does that cost an action? Thank you!!!!

When the enemy attacks you can divide damage up however you’d like as long as you don’t go above the threshold. You can reload with the extra ammunition card but there’s no default way to reload a weapon. Hope you enjoyed the playthrough!

To answer the remaining question. No, you don't have to discard your handgun if it's out of ammos. It is the case for other asset cards, but in such case it's written specifically on them. Since some other card effects will demand you to discard cards, this is quite important as it allows you to avoid discarding other useful assets.
