I was two weeks away from seeing Randy Rhoads when the crash happened .. Ozzy rescheduled and I got to see Brad Gillis, who did the impossible and got up there and was incredible .. For anyone who was around then, esp if you were a guitar player, you remember the daunting, impossible task any guitarist faced going out onstage with Ozzy after Randy's passing .. In 1982, Randy was THE biggest thing in metal guitar, and Brad Gillis not only kept Ozzy going, he was his own man in doing so ... and Brad still sounds incredible .. Sister Christian, one of the greatest rock ballads ever - and - BOOGIE NIGHTS, holy shit, what a scene !!

Absolutely awesome. I saw Styx on Tubi perform a concert with the same orchestra.. night ranger pulled it off well.. I was hoping there was more! That youth orchestra really brings out the music on these older bands. Wish I could go back in time for a year, then bring dinner stuff back with me lol.. I remember the concerts were$15. Back in the eighties, now general ad. is$1,000. Minimum... It's the music from that era, like Night Ranger that keeps me holding on to the Good old days.. awesome performance...

One day my dad and I were watching “Superstar” with Molly Shannon and Will Ferrell. I had to have been anywhere between the age of 3-6. The part when this plays in the movie, after she’s drenched in blue paint and laughed at in front of the whole (catholic) school for trying out for the talent show. She runs out, and the quiet kid who never speaks who people are afraid of, is right there at the entrance waiting on a motorcycle while this is playing. Beautiful. I fell in love with this song right then; the way it plays along with the film the timings and everything. Fast forward, we moved, my parents were on the verge of divorce. My dad was at his computer in the basement, I was down there too playing darts. Out of nowhere, he says, “Do you know this song?” (He knew I knew it lol) Plays this song. I lit up as soon as I hear the piano, I go “yeah!!” I never knew who sang it. We never talked much, but this was one of my fondest memories. I’m 28 now, and, understanding the lyrics now hits hard. This song will forever remind me of my dad. Rest in peace
