Great video man! I bought my wife one in silver. She loves it! And I love how aggressive it looks in the front, plus it's extremely comfortable, I also like the auto start/stop feature and the panoramic sunroof is a plus! You really can't go wrong with this SUV.

Great Night video! I attended the Atlas Launch Party out here in SoCal back on May 23, 2017 and I didn't stay long enough for it to get dark to see what the SUV looked like at night. I was hoping someone would make a night video. Thank you for making it happen...This Atlas looks great at night! :-)

Marcel, I've been reading your comments today. thank you for your feedback. Yes the Atlas is stylish and good looking to me. I like the boxy look it has, but still just the right amount of roundness. theres a few people in my city that own the Atlas now and I've spotted them on the street. looks amazing at the stop light compared to other SUV's that surround it.

All cars in North America are programmed to where when you turn on your high beams the foglights will turn off as that is the law in North America for them to turn off when the brights are on to not blind oncoming drivers. And the tailights are LED but only on the SEL Premium.

We have a 2018 Atlas. I'm trying to figure out why the interior lights do not come on when the door is opened. Most vehicles have a button to give you the option if you want them to not come on when you open the door but can't find one.

the interior also has footwell lights up front that you can adjust through settings on the head unit low or bright pretty cool.

Thanks so much for the video! You are the first person I know who does nighttime reviews. I'm interested in the Atlas and the first thing I thought was how do the LED lights look at night? Your review was exactly what I needed. Great job, I'm subscribing for sure!! BTW, at 1:35, is that accent lighting running all across underneath the dash? Does that stay on when you are driving or just when the doors are open?

It's illegal to have highbeams on at the same time as Fog lights. So that's why they cut out.

Hey! thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Have you watched any of my other VW Atlas Videos? I'm working on a 7 Day Video with the new ATLAS. Basically I've been filming with the car and family this past week and each day getting everyone's thoughts. I even take the car to a OFF ROAD location and test driving up a 30FT dirt hill. this might help with your decision. I also have done videos with the CX9, but not on that level yet.

Cali Made that's a cheap 20 buck fix. I don't like it either though. Especially when manufacturers have led drls but then use halogen low beams. The color different is annoying

I think you can also change the light intensity through vehicle settings on the touchscreen...similar concept as the Q7. Great video....the first one to make a night video.

thanks man. yeah I noticed not many car reviewers ever do anything at night. I wanted to spend more time filming the lighting options on the Atlas, but the Manager walked out saying they were closing up. So I had to cut my video short. More night vids coming on different cars.

I don't think so Armando. you might have to buy all new taillights for that and I would assume the price for that would be really high from the dealership.

ha ha! maybe so. Our dealership got 8 Atlas's off the truck last month. For the past 2 week's we've only had 1 or 2 in stock. So as we get another truck load I'll be getting they keys and filming some new stuff with it. Planning to hook up a nice big Boat on the back and test out the towing.
