Running this channel is basically a full time job so if I'm not at work then basically 80% of my free time is dedicated to this project. It's a lot to manage at times. This situation was a bad judgement call on where to turn on the trail. Truth is Jason wasn’t super intoxicated when this happened. We were only s few mins into our night ride. He didn’t see how steep the drop off was and the angle he hit it at just flipped the machine over. I watched it happen. I wish the camera didn’t freeze up. It was a pretty mild and slow roll over. The angle it landed on wedged it into the ground pretty good though. A lot of people always say he sounds drunk even when he’s not, it’s just the way he talks lol. He just slurs his speech. He’s just a really wild zero f**ks kind of rider lol.

Cool man, had no idea. Ray sold "Ray's Place" about two years ago to the new owners, Scott and Kate. They are awesome and really putting a ton of time and work into the entire place. It's now officially renamed Minden Offroad Park. They have been working really hard getting all the lodging renovated and improved as well as all the facilities and infrastructure. I feel there is a ton of positive things coming from this place over the next few seasons. Scott is an awesome guy and an off-roader at heart too. He know what people want out of a place like this. It's pretty cool because him and his wife grew up just a few minutes down the road from me. It's awesome to see him pursing his dreams/goals and running this place.

@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 2 жыл бұрын
Ya, it's a 4 season like you mentioned but all these trailers seem to struggle in the cold. You gotta run the heat pretty steady in them if its cold and windy. I feel they lose a ton of heat through the floors. Lots of surface area to get cold on these. If you only use it once in a while you just bite the bullet and spend an extra few dollars on propane. Still beats a tent, LOL.

I really appreciate all the different camera angles that you use. I especially like seeing another machines in front or behind you on the trail. It's much more interesting to see whats going on. Thanks Cody! I’m going to keep grinding and each day we gain more subscribers and views! I’m super stoked overall with where this channel has come and how many awesome viewers we have. All of you guys have helped make my KZbin dreams a reality. My goal would be to get this channel to a point where I can focus more of my time and resources on it. Unfortunately, I still need a day job to pay my bills so sometimes it’s hard to juggle work, life, responsibilities, riding and creating content. The channel is like a full time job.

Glad the video gave you the itch! Stoked you enjoyed it and thanks for the positive feedback! In regards to the subscriber numbers, not sure why they have been growing as slow as they have. I’m happy with where they are but also I look at other channels sometimes with a fraction of the views and what I consider lower video production quality and they have double the subs. Makes no sense but I don’t really focus on the number much to be honest. I just focus on having fun and putting out videos I enjoy and the viewers like you seem to enjoy. My theory is, “if you build it, they will come”

@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 2 жыл бұрын
I keep my spare batteries in an insulated pouch with multiple hot packs. I rotate them often. However the hot packs only work well in a Contained environment like a glove, boot, pocket or container. There is nowhere good to secure it on the camera either and if you do the hot pack doesn’t generate enough actual heat to fight through the cold and stay warm. I use multiple tricks to keep the cameras warm. Often i line the inside of a winter hat with multiple stick on hot packs and put it over cameras in between shots. I keep cameras plugged in. I use larger external battery packs. Lots of various tricks but still the cold is challenging to shoot in. It’s part of the experience though.

Camping hmm. I have done so many different kinds of camping from camping in a 5th wheel to sleeping in a sleeping bag on the ground from camping in a tent to camping in a slide in truck camper. I have to say I have even camped in my Van camper. Depending on where you are going how many people will be with you would depends on what I like to camp with. At a park like this I would camp in a 5th wheel or like you rent a room. I would much rather in that weather find a place deep in the woods and camp in a hot tent cook on an open fire. Truth is unless you have camped all different ways like tires you use you never know unless you try them all out. You should try Deer farm Campgrounds in Kings-field Maine You will be driving 2 1/2 miles up a mountain just to get to the campground. The ATV trails will have you sometimes gone for 2 or 3 days depending on where you go. You will see water falls, Caves. Animal foot prints in-bedded in rocks , Moss that glows in the dark. Even a lake and a few ponds way up in the Mountains. I should add it isn't just one Mountain you will be riding on.

You make some great points and I agree. I feel these days for the majority of people real, rugged “camping” has little appeal lol. That place in Maine sounds amazing. You can ride from Augusta Maine all the way up to Fort-kent Maine. As for the tires, mud tires are good for… mud, lol. They sick everywhere else. That’s why I like an all around tire that performs well in most conditions. It won’t do as well in mud so it’s cool to have a set of mud tires to use. I honestly believe that if you really wanna cover all your bases you need at least two sets of tires for your machine.

I do a lot of Coyote hunting With ATN thermal scopes . And night vision .Those lithium batteries do not want to last at all Even though during reasonable temperatures. the scope is supposed to last 10 hours on a full charge .When it is 20゚ it turns into 20 minutes it seems like the happy temperature is about 55゚ in above. It's been that way for some of my cameras so this is the trick I found. So when it's 40 below 0 and I'm laying in the snow drift With my rifle Or in the thirties I take some electrical tape or duct tape and I take those those hand warmers like You shake up. I believe they're called hot hands. And tape them around my scope or batteries to keep them warm to a regular temperature and it works it works just a little food for thought.

Hey man. I don’t bash can-am. I openly like all the machines because I respect them for their pros and cons. I state this in many videos. I’m not really brand biased at the end of the day. I also didn’t talk up a $100 light bar . My machine has top tier lighting but I clearly stated that items like a light bar and many other products need to be evaluated on many levels with cost often being the main deciding factor for most people. If you listen to what I said you’d understand that the point was that there is nothing wrong with a $100 light bar if you evaluate it with that in mind. You cannot compare a $100 light bar to a $1000 light bar. But a $100 light bar can still provide a massive improvement over no light bar and bang for buck may at times offer more value then a very expensive product dollar for dollar.

@@lifeafterdisability8180 stoked you enjoy the videos man! As for the drinking related stuff, you know how it is. You meet a lot of different people out riding and they all have their own opinions of what’s right or wrong. They make their own decisions at the end of the day. We are all out there to have a good tie but sometimes some people want to have too much fun lol.

AJP is by far the best SXS channel on KZbin, don't get me wrong, I love SXSBLOG, but for raw, uncut, just straight trail ripping, Your channel ROCKS!!!! Keep the videos coming, much respect from Indiana 🇺🇸👍

Thanks Jason!! Reading that made my day man. I can’t compete with a 2Jz powered RZR or a 2 stroke SXS but those are also one off unique projects. Not what your average Joe would build or ride. We make real world riding content here and I’m happy to hear you feel it’s some of the best. Guess we are doing something right! Lol. Next few videos will be great so stay tuned.

Every night ride I have been on has ended up in costing money and time . Lol. All part of the fun of riding. Great video 👍. Cheers.

Thanks Lloyd! Ya… there is just a certain aura around the night rides, lol. It’s like the trails change and come out to get you when you least expect it. Sometimes you come back during the day on an obstacle you struggled with at night and it just seems easy. These days with all the awesome lighting we have night rides are wayyy less sketchy then they used to be.
