I Love them both....I have been using the Shiseido toner for many years...If your budget allows..give them a try...if not...you will be able to find products that work for you for less..

LOL...Thank you...I have not tried any of the PC products....and many use only essential oils for their skin...all it takes is using the right essential oils for aging mature skin or whatever stage you are at in your life....knowing your skin well, is really the best way to really care for it!

Yes over the counter retinol products work...ROC is good and they also say neutragena is a good one..

You are so right Pam...oily skin needs moisture...You are very wise to treat it...I do think oil cleansing is an excellent cleansing for oily skin...People make the mistake of stripping their skin which then makes the oils secrete even more....:)) Good job...don't stop moisturizing or your serums....

Are you exfoliating on a regular basis...also ...are you allowing your products to soak in with each application....Is it when you are applying your foundation when you notice this...sometimes filler products leave a film that looks like the skin is rolling off...YOU must PAT these types of products instead of rubbing! OMG...YES...I do not consider Kiehl's to be one of the less expensive lines.....less expensive is drugstore.....Kiehl's is a wonderful fabulous line....I have used many of their lines and will continue...I will tell you my least favorite of their serums in the Marine ( teal blue bottle) formula!

Any products can clog pores if they are not cleaned off properly...this is why I do an oil cleansing routine once a week and use the clarisonic...Sunscreen is my biggest problem for pores and if I have breakouts..

I actually read an article about this...it said that the clarisonic actually helps because it allows all your treatments to absorb better and work for you sensitive skin...google clarisonic/rosacea to see if you can find any articles ..

I just recently started using Retin a again...a very low dose ...I use it only 2 times a week....I usually get to dry...I don't have any objections to using it....it is proven to be the only thing to really generate cell turnover...that's what we want...:))

the vitamin c serum won't do anything for his pores...BUT essential oil of tea tree mixed into the oil will also kill all bacteria for hi...He needs to deep oil cleanse...this will help him..
