Super relatable! Some people might see this as mess but what a beautiful thing for our kids to be kids and PLAY! 🤩 and draw all day and make messages and drawings for mommy and daddy and siblings all day! ❤❤ keep it up, Kayla!! My oldest is in kindergarten & my 3 and 1 year old hang out with me at home while she’s at school 🥰

I always tell myself im going to clean after my kid goes to bed and then im sooo tired! Bravo mama :)

I realised all is a habit. Cleaning or dishes in the past could be a burden for me , then with discipline I got into routine and now I swear my life easier as i try to maintain order cleanliness daily VS do it occasionally in the past . And it’s sooo satisfying this little growth , a joy 😉💪🏻

I can relate to the (almost luxury) quiet cleaning time alone🤣 It's cleaning but being able to do it in peace is actually ok.

Hi Kayla! I was cleaning alongside you which was helpful and made the time go by faster-thank you! Will you be doing a video on what you will be doing for baby Sean's Easter basket this year along with the older kiddos?! I could use some baby basket ideas :D hugs from TX

Just coming to comment that YESSSS the griddle is life changing!!! I'm obsessed with mine so decided to buy everyone in my family one for Christmas 😂. I found them at Walmart for like $11 each on clearance and snagged all of them and paired them with pancake better, homemade cinnamon butter and maple syrup. Everyone said that was their favorite gift bc it was practical! They are now all obsessed!

Thank you! The nitty gritty of mom and family life is reassuring that we are all in this together! I would occasionally give my son's highchair a shower and let the sticky areas soak. It worked pretty well! You're an amazing mom with amazing kids ❤

That high chair does look a pain to clean! But well done for doing it, looks so good now! I had an Ikea one but we didn’t love it so got (a second hand because they are so expensive!) Tripp Trapp one and we loved it!

Sometimes I do wish "scrolling" wasn't a thing. It definitely puts a damper on our time and mental health. We just gotta take control of it!😊

I would consider having them help clean up using a timer of even one minute- and they could see what they could clean up in one timed minute- that would be a help for you and over time u could increase the time..............

Kayla can you talk a little bit about your anxiety and depression journey. I know you were on meds and I believe you stopped. Also your driving anxiety progress, what helped etc. I have severe driving anxiety to the point I don't go anywhere. Anything would help.
@thereset17357 ай бұрын
I also have driving anxiety. But I don't know why I got it. Never been in an car accident or so. I wanted so much to be able to drive but had to wait until I could get my driver's license. But then when I got it I started to chicken. I drive anyways because I have to. I live in South Florida and the traffic is crazy and heavy. I have to take my daughter to school and do grogerys, laundry, doctor appointment, go to the park etc. My advice is just to do it!! The more you drive the more confident you will get . Drive small trips just around your neighborhood for a few minutes and then you do it more and more. There is a video you can watch I'll send kt to you here below. Good luck!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYO7aJyNaa-kmdUsi=ydvSIkZBGCkNl9NZ

@@thereset1735 thank you, I will, I am getting to the point where I have to because I have to take my son to school. And also because I want to have more freedom. I know if I do it it will get better, but it's getting started is the problem. But like you said small trips around my neighborhood and often.
@darciestepp41997 ай бұрын
So glad someone else suggested this! I also have driver's anxiety and my daughter is to an age where I need to start bringing her do things just us instead of waiting until my husband is off work. I was in a car accident in 2013 and have never been the same since.
@thereset17357 ай бұрын
@@junesammy-robidoux2305 You'll see you will get the eventually :) I'm cheering for you and everybody who wants to learn how to drive and get more confident. Do you have a partner? Ask he or she to do some driving or a friend you can trust. Just a small driving trip around the block is better than nothing. Start small and then go further and further. Today I picked up my daughter from school and went straight to a friend's house from school I drove and it was so fuuuun. They had a bounce house large back yard lots of toys and we had a blast! Just the freedom and how much fun you can have give you the boost you need to drive. Our kids deserve it aswell no be able to take them to places. And it gives me so much energy and i feel more happy and independent to be able to go wherever I want and need.

@@thereset1735 thank you for the support, I know we are strangers but I feel like you are a friend who really cares for me, I appreciate that so much. I looked at the video you sent, it was so helpful, things I never thought about. I have my husband who is God Bless him a good man, he would help but I tend to feel more nervous with him sometimes. I think I just feel he is judging I know that's in my head. I really want to get to that point that you were describing where I can just go with my son and give him all the experiences. Right now my poor little guy is relegated to the house, because Daddy works and Mommy can't drive. I know he is frustrated and he needs more. I told my husband about the video and from tomorrow I'm going to start going around the block. We only have one car but my husband works the second shift so I can do stuff in the morning. I am determined by the end of the month to be able to drive to the places I used to before this fear took over. I know it would give me a sense of freedom, ease my husband up from having to drive us everywhere and most importantly give my little guy some much needed activities.
