I loved going for night walks or bike riding when I used to live in Salt Lake City. It's also alot safer than St. Louis, MO, at night.

A disaster away once the Salt Lake dries up and windstorms blow whatever toxic waste is at the bottom of the lake. Hopefully, the farming and other interests are able to come to a solution with the state in time.

About to move to SLC by end of the year (2022), I'm not white nor am I Mormon but the city just looks so clean and cultural almost like a fantasy land and I'd love to experience life out there soon.

@@sammyarchuleta8615 there's a lot of beautiful scenery in Utah. Several world class ski resorts half an hour to an hour from downtown. Park City, home to the Sundance film festival, is bustling year round. Utah has 5 gorgeous national parks. The list is practically endless.

It's pretty rare to see the sky that clear around SLC. Usually it's pretty smoggy and often it's so bad you can't even see the mountains. With the lake drying up the air gets filled with particulate matter containing arsenic. I fear property values are going to drop once cancer and respiratory illness rates start skyrocketing. I've already had 3 close family members die early to respiratory illness. I believe it was the constant exposure to pollution that killed them.
