Today it is exactly one year ago since we came to Aruba and had the best vacation of our lives! We stayed at the Divi Beach and Golf resort and LOVED it! This video brought back so many memories! Thank you so much Hyro and Marleen! (Woke up yesterday and it was -14°C outside... 🥶 Made us miss Aruba even more!)

Hi Hyro & Marleen - As always great video although must admit this is one of my favorites. It has only been 2 weeks since i left the island & Divi and miss it dearly. I love the walk from Tam to Divi and I do both night and day. I did enjoy the other places you showed us around the area that I wasn't expecting to see thank you so much. I do remember the little Dutch market around 20-25 years ago and was sad the first year it was gone. I still have some jewerly and hair accessories from that first trip. As far as the white around the bottom of the trees we asked a bartender that same question once his funny reply was so the people who drink too much don't bump into trees, lol.....Thanks again and hope to see you both again in the future. Next time may have to return to my original November as I really miss the beautiful Christmas decorations. You too really do deserve an ice cream after all that walking. Brenda

I have seen them clean the Eagle beach in the past but not recently. It could be because the vehicle is hotel sponsored at the Divi beach.

It is sad to see Eagle beach deterioration and nobody do anything for this wonderful beach but now it is not the #1 top of the beach!

Hello Hyro.. wonderful Aruba I remember coming to the talk of the town restaurant for the first time which was in town and sitting at the bar with the curved windows looking out of Venezuela I’d see the lightning striking over the mountains, but you couldn’t see until the light struck over them. It was one of the most romantic and wonderful times back in 1971 we decided to stay at the Mancebo after meeting Ike Cohen address his wife Greta they invited us for dinner at their home after that we only stayed at the Mancebo Beach. We loved it the red parrot dining room. Aruba was a special place and will always be in our hearts. It was so open uncrowded. I was such a different place from where we came to this day as an old man when I die as I close my eyes, I’ll remember those wonderful days on the beach
