Just coming back to this again. I remember getting goosebumps when this theme played on that specific episode. This game was an absolute blast. Keiichi and Rena respecting each other before they fight to the death on the rooftop while lives are at stake. One of the great VNs I've read years ago. I wish I could wipe my memories of this franchise so I can start fresh again.

Tsumihoroboshi was easily the best chapter in this game and I refuse to take any conjecture. It just was. The rooftop scene and everything that lead up to it with this music playing had me genuinely screeching at my monitor it was so fucking hype man 😭, and the emotional climax to it all was. Ughhh God tier series I’m so happy I read it

I think the anime did good for the limitations it was under. It was the reason why i had to go read the VN. But I did wish the anime fleshed out Shion's arc to include all of the details on WHY she's so crazy. It must hard adapting VNs properly since they're so reliant on diaologue.

Why ya comparing about Victima Propiciatoria with Mienai Nanika ni Obieru Yoru? They're definitely *not* the same. MNOY (Mienai Nanika ni Obieru Yoru) is more like modern J-Pop song while VP (Victima Propiciatoria) is a classic Spanish tango-like music.
