I can see why photographers are bothered by this. The comparison is kind of like science fictoin vs a classic novelist. Except technical skills are not necessary.

It's just a word prompt. And I think part of the concern is how much more accurate and realistic AI-generated art has become in just a few months. A couple of years ago, you would need to do coding, which was very challenging, and then it would produce this very impressionistic, "smeary" sort of image. But starting in late 2022, the images became noticeably better and more accurate, and have kept progressing very quickly since then. The images I created for this show were already several months old, so you can create far more sophisticated images now as it is. It's also like this across the board, where people are using AI for numerous other things as well.
