Hey, Guys. I'm an eighty yr. old great grandmother. I'm part of our family snapchat group and I posted last week, that I could see there was weakness in their defense. The o-line wasn't as clear since the Buffs got the win. If someone as old as me, who lives in Nebraska by the way, can see this, they've got problems. Wish the Sander boys good health and quick recovery for Shilo. To be fair, Nebraska didn't unveil their talent last week, so when the Buffs watched all that film, they really couldn't see what Nebraska was bringing to the field.

Unc, Neb/Bronco fan here. A SUPER honest and fair, no sugarcoating assessment. Heres where I disagree with you: I have argued since he started that you can GET skill players from the portal, they can come in and absolutely be plug and play. The rest of the positions arent quite as easy to recruit mercenaries that can/will produce at elite levels. On the lines, the sweat equity hasnt been paid for YEARS like a normal development process, the familiarity of how their teammate will move, whether they will do their job to...for instance.. sacrifice their body to take out a pulling guard so you can shoot inside. On top of that....they come to that school for the bright lights....at some point they are going to make business decisions to not take on someone coming their way.....especially if things dont look good. Or even sit out. You say 3-4 years. I say this formula will NEVER work. If you drop 50 guys and gain 50 guys every year, you have no chemistry. On top of that, when Shedur and Travis are gone, thats their two best threats. They are going to be SIGNIFICANTLY worse next year without those two. BTW, Rhule had 2 years, and the CU players you listed, came from our glory days too. We havent been up in 20 years, just like CU... so lets be honest... Prime vs Rhule comparison doesnt need a handicap. It is what it is. Prime is a Redbull and Rhule is a Protein Shake.

What Shannon said at 23:00 is exactly why it takes a strong leader to be a coach. Putting in all that work and giving up the control to let your players play the game. A true coach brings the best out of the whole team not just a few players. A true coach elevates the team, doesn’t cut everyone and bring in 45 new players. Leadership is something you can learn and develop over time but it takes humility patience and passion. The Colorado buffaloes seem to be lacking in all three

Coach Prome is trying to get his son and Travis to win the Heisman Trophy with Passing Stats, based upon history of the Heisman Trophy. The defense is weak up front abd cannot play man to man. You can protect the defense by running the ball and controlling the clock and keeping the weak defense off the field. His son do not get passing stats with a runnng game, but the team will be much better and will win more games, buts that's not the prioirty of Coach Prine. The focus should have been size and depth upfront and a focus on running and zone defense. The issues with the team is upfront and no running game. They should have picked 2-3 big Tight Ends in the portal to help with pass blocking and quick passes to a large TE. The need to be a play action pass team to be successful, however, they did not put the time, energy and focus on players that fit and meet that profile.

Bench Charlie as RB1 and utilize Dallen Hayden fron Ohio!!!! Like come on!!!!!!! CP is playing people based on who he likes and not their skill. Yes, no doubts about it, CU got outplayed and outcoached by Nebraska. They truly do need to tone down the social media, and focus completely on becoming a better, more cohesive, more effective team. The offensive scheme is completely inept and ineffective. The defense actually has done decently overall. Take away that late long QB TD run last week, and the CU defense has held two dynamic offenses to zero points in the second half of both games. They have a lot to improve, but at the end of the day, preventing offenses from scoring is the primary goal for any defense. The one thing that still remains a positive for CU is that they have not played any conference games yet. And while I know and agree that it is a laughable thought based on how poorly they have been playing, CU could still win their conference. Chances are very low that they do that, though. I just really want them to make it to a bowl game. Just win 6 games and be bowl eligible. Stop all of the ridiculous talking about being national champions. That is so far away from reality as it is for all average teams in D1 football. Stop all of that nonsense talk. You all have yet to even build the foundation of a national championship program. Be very humble. Be very determined. Be very resolute. Let your performance on the field and wins on the scoreboard be the biggest and loudest mouthpieces of your program.
