Mr. Royston, I took my first dance lesson at 51 years old, now 57. After watching you guys kill it on KZbin I got up the courage to attend mt first weekend event in Calgary. Extreme Swing Weekend, I thought for sure by the end of the weekend I'll be able to dance just like you guys 🤣(not). You were teaching the very first class I attended, and the class was on connection and I thought at the end of that classic wow I just wasted an hour of my time when I could have been learning some cool moves, but in actuality, that's been one of the most valuable lessons I have learned in dance so far! So thank you sir for being such a wonderful influence on me and keep on being a wonderful ambassador for dance... CHEERS!

Encourage you to demonstrate some shadow figures (same foot figures, and foot changes). Most people know the sliding door. Progressive figures are more advanced. Thanks for taking the time to release more Nightclub content.

Hi there! Waltz is in 3/4 time signature, while Nightclub is in 4/4. Unfortunately, while some music portrays a similar emotion, Nightclub would be pretty hard to dance to Waltz music. 🤷

​@@countrydancexI humbly disagree because I have seen this figure in cross waltz uploads. The styling then becomes waltz instead of nightclub.

​@@bambio9686Pardon me for interrupting, one can absolutely dance these figures to waltz timing. Then it becomes cross waltz instead of nightclub. When you dance these series of triple steps at a faster and in Latin music flavor it becomes salsa or mambo. Style it differently and these figures become bolero. There are lots of "triple steps" to discover in dancing. Welcome to dancin. Lots of fun and exercise. Cheers.

You have two feet, two hands. Many things appear in different dances as there are only so many combinations. Can you change and manipulate this pattern to fit inside a waltz? Sure. Can it work as is? No.
