I just want to point out to any comment readers passing through, listen to the chorus lyrics and you will see this is actually a song with a very positive message. The last two lines of the chorus are "Remember all the sadness and frustration *And let it go, let it go* ". It ends up with this being a weird flip on the usual pattern of lyrical dissonance, with it being a song with a sad feel, and frankly a lot of sad lyrics, but a turn that tells a a positive message about letting go of pain.

Coming back to this song really just makes you think of what we have lost and how to move on but never forget. This song really helped me get over my break up, its message just hit me and made me realize that holding to that pain will only make it worse, it may have been a struggle but I did it and now I'm with someone better. Anyone reading this should take this as advice if you are experiencing any pain, you can let it go and make a change to it, never let it bring you down. Much love to you all and always remember, you're not in this alone.
