This was a song for freaking Transformers! How did they have the talent to write this and it be for a movie about cars that change into robots? Unlike New Divide this song wasn't written specifically for TF. Michael Bay asked them if they wanted to do another but they declined and instead offered Iridescent. They worked a lot of the scenes around the song instead. It's hauntingly beautiful in the movie.
