Fun fact: This song is originally sung by the band Red. Red is a Christian rock band. This song is about finding God and being reborn in your faith. The lyrics are intentionally written to be abstract and vague because in this era of music (the 2000s) it was looked down upon to enjoy religious music. So to anyone who isn't familiar with Red being a Christian rock band it could be interpreted as a love song. Three years passed by, and all of a suddenly this song played in my head... I've come back to this video, listening to this song, thinking about the sad and bad things that have happened in my life. I've accept all of it and moved on with memories of things that break me and remind me that I may still be broken. Although this song is about another person putting all of the pieces of a person back together, I have no doubt but to say that I have nobody in my life to do that to me. Even though this may be true, this song takes no time to capture my heart into it's hand again. It's beautiful.
