Love Eurooptic. With their pricing, availability, and OUTSTANDING customer service they have garnered my business and support. Anyhow, I’m needing another EXPS to put on my shotgun, and I’m torn between Swarovski and Nightforce for a spotter. Probably be calling you guys soon-ish.

Why pay that huge price when it's not a whole lot better than the scope on your rifle.

The CFS units are outfitted with reticle options that match up with the reticles in other Nightforce riflescopes. This allows the CFS to be used in conjunction with riflescopes equipped with the same reticle and allows both the shooter and spotter to share the same frame of reference for more accurate corrections. A CFS unit mounted to a tripod also provides a more stable platform for observation and identification.

If the shooter and spotter had the same reticle in the scopes on the gun, your first point is moot. and you could have your rifle on a tripod also. I can see the military application would make more sense but stillno real advantage for reason stated. It seems your basically packing an extra rifle scope that's not mounted on a rifle.@@EuroOpticLtd

I'm a big Nightforce fanboy but this is lame. For $3k I'll buy a Swaro or a Kowa with a much larger objective.

Thankfully, we have those other options as well. The CFS is not for every spotting situation but does offer a unique set of features that can't be found together elsewhere. When you want variable magnification, a FFP reticle, and a reliable platform for attaching assisting devices, there are not a ton of options out there.
