Nightforce SHV 5-20x56 Unboxing

Ive just got one of these, can you help me out mate? - So i set the Retcile to my eye first. - Second I adjust the Parallax to make sure no movement when i move my head up ,down, left right. - Does the 5-20 power zoom effect any of the above? or its just the zoom? - Third, I zero it in at 100 m / yards then take top cap of and push it back down & set zero, screw cap back on. - Wind adjustment? any tips? I am a new shooter, any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Yes your eyes movement do not change your point of impact, but if you sighted it in at full view which is 20 for example and you turn the view down to 12x it would definitely effect your point of impact, I tried it and it’s about 2-3 iches. Wind adjustment is according to the wind speeds. That’s hard to tell.

Nice scope. What height rings to clear the barrel shank?

I haven’t mount it on any rifle yet! I have the SHV 14x it’s amazingly good and I hit 900-1000 yards no problem with it.

I have seen that it goes to 2000 meter clear and good... i have one myself :) So yes! :)
