Took me a long time to find an AOS faction that spoke to me and I've finally decided to run Seraphon. Dinosaurs are cool and the new models look amazing Now I just gotta decide between starborne and coalesced

Objective control is determined at the end of the turn, contesting an objective happens as soon as a unit is moved within 6” of an objective.

Also, you can contest terrain and objective at the same time, per the last FAQ to the core rules.

Jinx was such a joyful Revenant at the head of her ghostly cavalcade and Slaan Mage Priest Chef'tahquil divined many castings of the bones! Absolutely great to watch, the paint jobs that you all and Fletcher have put together are pretty damn inspiring. Maybe someday I can be trusted enough with an airbrush.

You start contesting as soon as you touch an objective; you only check for who *controls* the objective at the end. That's the difference, Chef. Not that it matters too much, very often! ALSO! you ARE able to control a terrain feature and an objective at the same time! This was actually FAQ'd, recently.

Love reports like this. I do however have to point out that since the 6 april core rulebook faq, the slann isn't allowed to have an arcane tome anymore. You can only give it nowadays to a non-wizard, non-priest, non-khorne model. That model then only knows acrane bolt and mystic shield (and can cast any of the endless spells if chosen)

Just a rule advice for round 1 seraphon, you can desecrate their land and take control of the objective point as the terrain piece is not an objective. You only take control of it in same way.

I have only just discovered you guys and this was an absolute joy to watch! I'm just getting started with AOS (tempted back in by the call of the great plan after having left my old Lizardmen in the Old World). The table setup here and production quality is absolutely phenomenal. Is there a way to find out how the terrain was made or where it was brought from? Those rocky hills/Mountains are beautiful.

I think i've run a near-identical list for nighthaunt before, however I swapped out the banshees for more chainrasps, which was actually really helpful with being able to swarm my friend's chaos warriors with surprisingly tanky babies

1:03:49 doesnt Matter how much bonuses you get in age of sigmar You can only get 1 Off from your Base save. So even with +2 tonsave and 0rend the saurus Warriors with 4 basesave only save on a 3 little rule but should be remembered 🙂.

It's capped at +1 total, but Rend is a modifier too, so it does stack, but only vs Rend or other negative modifiers 🙂 Also those are Temple Guard, who have a 3+ base save 🙂 -Chef

Well Jinx urgently needs some lessons in "how to play NIghthaunt" Seeing her only Hammer in Bladegheists hiding outside of any Aura in Round 3 was painful. Aura management is key for Nighthaunt, as is always ALWAYS fall back and charge to get wave of terror off.
