I usually watch the NBC Nightly News, but I am considering switching to another network. I agree that telling the horrible story of the demise of Laken Riley is needed. However, I think showing her mother at the moment police informed her that her daughter had been murdered was one of the most classless things I have ever seen NBC broadcast. I mean, how in the hell did you THINK she was going to react? Showing someone’s most personal, painful, and private moments of their entire life, is not something you broadcast willy-nilly across the country just to get your ratings up! If I was that mother, I would definitely consider legal action. 😡
