Great statue. I 100% agree with your thoughts, if anything it looks too clean. It should have been more weathered and dirty looking. If you’re a big fan of this look, I think Queen Studios would be the better way to go. Theirs looks more accurate, it has the fabric coat, the goggles can be moved, it also has a switch out arm, plus the gun and binoculars. This is a great piece, I just think Iron Studios could have gone a little bit further with it.

I love the Knightmare Batman from Weta. Dark, dirty and gritty. This one is nice too though.

Sorry to disagree but personally I have found WETA to be same disappointment as IS. I bought the black suit SUPS and lucky my pals at the retailer took pity on what clearly was a joke compared with what was marketed but in the end is eye of beholder right? Cheers.

I think this is the weakest of the three 1/4 scale Knightmare Batman's, almost seems as they took the 1/10 scale and made it larger. Since it is a movie piece it definitely needed more detailed costume elements to get the realistic look. I have the Weta and if it wasn't for the shipping damage it would be perfect. I have the Queen on PO, just might be too much mixed media for my taste but we will see.

To me Iron studios paint app has always disappointed. I have a few of their pieces, and would not buy more based on those. I am astonished anyone paying that much would defend what is clearly a sub-par treatment when compared with mainstay outfits like P-1, Queen, Sideshow. My favorite piece in collection to this date is my half scale P-1 Knightmare... that one is fo so Batfleck.

It's fine. Easily the weakest 1/4 Knightmare Batman. The least accurate but I prefer the pose to Weta. It almost looks like an animated version. Really like the coat swaying out. Should come with a bottle of black wash.

I always liked the Knightmare Batman version. I appreciate the work that Iron Studios has put into him. But having the Weta version myself, well to be honest, the difference is day and Knight ( small joke 😂 ) between them. Iron Studios version is nice looking, but in my opinion he feels to clean. To bland looking. The details on the Weta one are incredible. Queens version looks also better. I personally feel that this is the least version of the 3.

It's ok, but compared to Weta and Queen Studios by far the weakest Knightmare-Batfleck. It even doesn't has any Accessoires (Machine-Gun, Googles) like the others, which is really a big Letdown

Thanks for the review bud. Compared to the Weta this can't hold up in no category. Weta is so much better, this looks almost comic like but nothing like the movie. Tons of missed opportunities here.

Having also seen the WETA piece, I would also agree that it's the better of the two. I still think this is a well done piece, but paint could have been done better.

The Weta buries this. This version is way too clean, base is underwhelming at best, and the portrait isn't there either. Iron studios has some great pieces, this isn't one of them.

Let's not mince words. All these Iron Studios movie pieces are disappointing especially for the inflated price that they charge. I can tell you really don't like it because you always use the phrase " It's a fun piece." When you say that, it usually means you have no interest in it whatsoever. Remember the old phrase, "You can't polish a turd" even though you're trying very hard in your review.
