Lol I can't believe how dumb people are in this lol. If you played drums pro you can chose the fills to be freestyle or not, if not then you would still play the notes and have the green note in it to overdrive

If you really wanna get technical, this is how Rock Band handles online: When you play with your friends online, you don't actually see your friends hitting the notes - what you are actually seeing is the game's engine autoplaying the chart. It will continue to do this until it detects that the player has missed a note, in which case the autoplay disables itself until they start hitting notes again.This is why online in RB seems so perfect, even with high latency connections. When drum fills appear (even if freestyle is switched on), you'll notice that during parts where an OD activation is skipped, the drummer continues to play, seemingly exactly as how it should be played as though freestyle fills are turned off. What you are seeing at that moment is the engine's autoplaying in action (keep in mind that the actual notes still exist under those fill lanes). Notice how the fill lanes don't light up? That is the drummer not playing anything during the fill, signaling the others to skip the activation. When it IS time to activate together however, the drummer will start doing a fill, and the lanes will light up, signaling the others as such so everyone activates together. Also as much as I love Slipknot,they have some of the most vile,explicit,and disgusting lyrics in heavy metal music. Out of any band,Slipknot songs tend to have the most cursing.

Personally I think the guitarist should activate Overdrive as soon as possible during the inro. It runs out in time to get the Unison Bonus and you'll get almost the same amount as the drummer. It's a chance for more points.
