I’ve done the same , berated them and called them other tight or stupid and more likely both Or when they bought something else which went wrong so got their doe back call me again and I say F off. You gotta be confident in your business to turn idiots away and not simp over them. I’ve even had deposit welshers kiss the depo bye bye and sold it for more and pocketed the depo and bought something nice. F’ em 🥷🏿🇬🇧

Another one say my transit was £3500 Bloke views and test drives it saying vvv interested then says there’s one 8 miles away so just gonna look at that . Then 1 hour after he’s on the phone that one’s scrap so can he come back n mine and would I take £3000 so I give it back about how I would of knocked a few quid off the first time but no they wanted a cheaper one so you pay £3500 or don’t bother . I’ve had them say what but after 30 years of selling I’m not messing around anymore F off and buy the crap one

Not just you. My mates is a mechanic. He's got them bringing in vehicles and asking him to fix stuff as cheap as possible. He take the time to explain that cheap doesn't last. They insist though and 6 months later they are back with the same fault, shouting conman and thief despite the crappy Chinese part having done like 7 thousand miles since fitting

The customers who storm on the pitch and are rude to us are always “ the banger customer” and they always get annoyed we haven’t got something in their budget and tell us our cars are expensive. The boys selling sub 3k stuff week in week out must have the patience of a saint.

I had a bad review on a freelander at 895(!) basically when we delivered it he'd changed his mind, I said we'd take it back no problem, anyway v5 with the car had been written in, I'd not noticed, I said tipex it out for change of keeper, when I got back review came saying no docs with car and I'd lied (!) to him, annoying thing was that we'd had 50 calls for the vehicle.

That fiesta will not have xenon lol! They come with projector headlights with halogen bulbs. Unless some chav has gone and fitted LED/HID kit in there. Salesman are definitely not car guys 😂

If a carpets got dog hairs if it's black I use a black aresol, locks in the smell and colours the hairs, it's fairly rare now for cars to be smoked in, back in the day head linings we're brown, we'd paint them with shoe white(!)

I assume now finance make it clear about the commission to customers so there won’t be another situation where there having to pay people back? Also be careful charging the Tesla inside guys! Find a lot of building insurers won’t cover you if charging an EV inside and also if the battery were to vent there toxic. Run the extension outside

It is a lot easier to avoid dealing with certain types of customers than have to deal with their headaches and ridiculousness after a sale. I'd personally rather scrap some of my stock than sell to some of the people that come, sorry if that offends you.

To be fair, smoke and dog smells masked by an air freshener is really unacceptable and I would be fuming also. There is nothing worse and almost imppossible to get rid of. The smell is in-grained in the fabric.
