Lol could be sticky valves could be piston slap could be the tensioner on the way out wich has the potential to detonate the engine so it sounds silly but you would wish you did something when it all goes wrong often enough you can hear it before it goes

Great video, I get the same, someone rings up from 2 mths ago and they think you've only sold that one car, regarding rejecting cars, I had a problem, offered a fix, pay her local garage, anything at all, refund, she was 300 miles away, I said I wasn't willing to travel, plus a ferry (!) was involved, she took me to court and I just lost hands down, ended up going for the car, Isle of wight, car was in a mess and she wouldn't give me the v5, anyway after court cost and reselling I was 1500 quid min out, so if they want to reject probably best just to take it on the chin.

I had the same thing with a Nissan 1.5 dci. It’s was a dpf sensor pipe which blocks up. Common issue I was told! Nightmare of a job!

Countryman have shit engines ! Pissed £££££ getting one fixed , wasted £1450 with one garage as it kept going into limp mode and it was an automatic and it was exactly the same as it went in ! Gave up and sold to wbac and lost £7000 in a year !

Do the under book prices just reflect where the market is at? Been looking for a 2 year old used car for my daughter and from what Ive seen over the last 3 months it suggests prices are softening quite a bit!

Great video With regard to advertising in the local paper, you’re getting better quality cars, but you’re also probably getting less cars which are being part exchanged quickly because they have a big issue. For example, If someone passes away, the car mightn’t have been used recently, maybe have a bit of mould or cracked tyres or whatever but they should (in theory) be decent, honest cars
