Thank you, I remember the week he when missing. Very strange immediacy, I live 6 miles from Mt. Shasta I heard a few people say his girlfriend had something or everything to do with his disappearance. She is well known in the area of Mt Shasta. The girl friend was into drugs so I have heard. The police did not do much at all, Mt Shasta is a tourist destination year-round. At this time, we were in complete lock down. To this day when I look up at the mountain, I wonder about him. I got in an argument with a partner while camping in a place I thought I was pretty familiar with. I went for a walk to cool off and calm down. When I decided to go back, I headed the direction I thought I came from, but it wasn't. Being mad, not paying attention to my surroundings... I was lost. The amount of searching they did outside of town, when there's no (public) evidence he left town, suggests they were not expecting to find him alive. They were looking for a crime scene, and either had a tip, or some other reason to think it might be where they searched.

Mount Shasta has many weird phenomenon and also "crazy weather". You can be in direct sunlight and hike 10 minutes more and suddenly see weird creepy fog and ice cold wind coming towards you. I know 3 hikers this happened to. One of them is convinced that he almost died that day as he couldn't see the hand in front of his eyes and almost fell to his death, he didnt see that until the fog disappeared but he had a gut feeling to not move from the spot and put up his tent and used his thermal blanket which he didnt plan to take with him that day. he said on any other day either the fog would have gotten him or the hypothermia. The creepiest thing was that there was absolutely no sound to hear and he felt watched.

Before you "LOL", do some reading: This Bigfoot sensation has paranormal groups and media in a whirl. However, what modern society doesn't realize is that this creature is nothing new. Indigenous people across the globe have had relationships with these creatures for hundreds of years, and often associate them with natural or spiritual phenomena. Tribal beliefs base their "Bigfoot" stories either on actual encounters or mystical perceptions of natural spirits. This article will share some various descriptions of the creature, tribal beliefs of the Choctaws and Chickasaws, a surprising story written by a United States president, and a short description of the ideal Bigfoot habitat.

No way. It isn't a Scooby Doo mystery. That is not correct. I live in a small tourist Beach vacation city very small and extremely popular. We have 1 mile by 3 miles of land and then twice that in beach and marsh to go on. If you start messing with the environment or putting up too many flyers then people will get angry because it changes the vibe of the place and it's vibe is what brings tourists. You don't do that. Put up one flyer at each gas station and maybe a few on light posts every mile or two. No reason to flood the area like that. They obviously were putting them EVERYWHERE like someone would miss the flyer if they were not on every single square inch of the town. You don't need a flyer on every tree like in the movies when a dog gets lost. They were obviously emotional and they were putting up flyers with their out of control emotional system and not using tact and grace. Think about it. We are all on this big round rock. It isn't all about you. I understand someone is missing but there is always someone missing and there are people missing in other places that the family never batted an eye for. It is rude to get crazy in a small town because your relative got lost or was a victim of a crime and the towns people had nothing to do with it and ship owners had nothing to do with it and they still have to do business and live their life and feed their families. It is in poor tastes to flood a small community with a big missing persons problem and it implies that the town has a killer or a kidnapper in a way or at least makes a bad vide to tourists and potentially makes a small tourist town seem like a creepy place because of the missing persons flyers. There were plenty of flyers out and they were spreading the word. Nobody was going to overlook something and still won't. It isn't the shop owners fault and it isn't the hotel owners fault and it isn't the souvenir shops fault or the restraunts fault that the guy is missing and the bad vibes will make them lose business and give off that creepy Scooby Doo small town mystery crime vibe when you do this type of thing.

I'm from that area, it was a wonderful place to grow up, always felt safe and bad things never really happened. Then the cartels moved in, took over the forests with illegal grow operations. And soon the unthinkable began to happen; dead bodies found on highways seemingly tortured and tossed out, missing persons, and stories from locals of scary and life threatening encounters with the militarized men who were scattered throughout the forests defending the operations. When the sheriff's departments tried to bring law and order to the areas, they were met with gun fire and greater armed forces than they could handle. Having such limited funding and staffing, they were completely disabled from doing anything about it. So I wouldn't doubt if the cartel got a hold of him. They send out recruiters, could be an attractive women, young cool dude, whoever, and they target transients. They offer them something.. a ride, weed, a place to stay, a job, food, whatever a person might need. Then, when that person accepts the offer, thinking its just innocent generosity, they soon find themselves indebted to the cartel. Forever. And you never hear from them again.

It sounds like they did a lot of searching way outside of town, for someone who was last seen in town, about a block away from the motel he was trying to find. It says they never expected to find him alive and were looking for his grave. It is weird that nobody wanted his family's flyers around.

I don’t understand why his phone wasn’t working? The last time it pinged was the day before in Oakland? What’s up with that? I think he got lost trying to find his way back to the inn and for whatever reason didn’t have a cell phone and probably had a panic attack. Plus there’s not a lot of black people in that area and if he was walking around in all black looking suspicious going thru neighborhoods I can imagine him getting dirty looks and called names which probably made him freak out even more.

Sounds like he disappeared not on the mountain itself but in Mt. Shasta city or thereabouts. I stayed in Mt. Shasta city for a month or two and its a small, New agey kinda tourist place but it def. Had a sinister vibe that was not far under the surface. Hard to place exactly. Beautiful place though. This case is weird- probably foul play. The girlfriend sounds sus

✍ Maybe she had a life insurance policy on him, my guess is the girlfriend is key to his disappearance. Very sad - prayers

Sounds like the girl was flipped out on drugs. Maybe she dosed him and he got lost.

Its really disturbing to hear how easily people accuses others of "rasism" when there is no evidence of it. They dont realize that by falsely accusing the locals they alienate some really good people who might otherwise want to help. SMH.

I don't know I think he got robbed I don't think the girlfriend anything to do with it I think she was just a little crazy with that spiritual stuff but I don't think I don't know I don't think she had anything to do with it That's just my opinion but I think something else happened to him because it was weird that somebody went to a Burger King and it all sudden this kid's like yeah your brother got robbed and killed and they threw him in this lake like who would say something like that That's just kind of weird to me
