I would put up a fence also as the inside and the outside of my neighbor's property has been - n probably will always be a pigsty, junkyard whatever one may want to call their living arrangements. Worse yet, he/ her their children will grow up thinking that living in an unhealthy- uncared for proper home is normal ! When our children, including us as parents, b4 bedtime n baths etc. We ALl would do our part to tidy up our home. Inside n outside. Each child had their own basket to put their toys n bits n bobs taken care of. Even to the outside toys , be it something like junk... just tidy up. All things our parents had taught us. Totally. Given that it’s not owned by them, but is a rented property, I have no idea why they haven’t been evicted. It’s clear who the issue is, but even if everyone was equally to blame it’s not good for a landlord to have tenants behaving this way to each other. So one of them has to go and you choose the one who allows your property to look like a pigsty.

Absolutely. I expected it to be 6 of one and half a dozen of the other, but instead it was so obvious from very early in the episode that she was the problem. We don’t have any problems really with neighbours but even then, I put my kids climbing frame up so that the tower was furthest from the fence because it’s the polite thing to do ensure you’re not making neighbours uncomfortable for no reason. She put that tower there for one reason only and that was to cause trouble and spy on the neighbours. The fact that she is unable to see that she is the problem here is incredible to me.

Most large families I know would give a lot to live in such a beautiful and spacious environment. The helicopter shot showed who was more appreciative and respectful of their good luck. Putting up that decking/Wendy house where they did was not for the benefit of their kids, who would’ve enjoyed it anywhere in that huge, unkempt, garden. Lesson learned : always be polite to your neighbours but don’t get too involved. However, when you have school age kids this becomes tricky to say the least. You are a role model for them and “monkey see, monkey do”. Do not make the mistake of initial interaction with people like Canadian Karen, you can spot em a mile off. Avoid at all costs.

One slap is one slap too many mate, NEVER put your hands on a woman (or anyone) especially in anger. Nobody calms down after being slapped unless they're scared of you. She's clearly a very nervous and emotional person. I don't know anything about their situation to speculate, but the fact he said "no,never" and she said "it was just once to calm me down' makes me fel very concerned fo her.

It’s weird, but both the men are very confrontational! You really can’t reason with either one. Zoë is very fearful, but has a hold on her husband and not afraid of him, but maybe what he will do that is totally inappropriate. hazel is both confrontational and caring - she is the spokesperson for the couple and upholds what her partner says. Hazel and Jaimie both care about Zoë and I do, too. The Colonel is fair, respectful , and a very good negotiator. Such a damned interesting video. 36:41 I wonder what will happen? It has worked out pretty well - especially for the kids as I was very worried about them. both sides have made changes. Zoë seems to be so relaxed now - maybe she and Hazel, even though they’re polar opposites, will be able to say hi “over the fence”. :) 🌷🌱
