Just think no mainstream Hollywood producer or movie studio wanted nothing to do with this movie. When Wes Craven took it to Hollywood the only ones willing to take a chance on it was a small. B horror movie studio that made straight to VHS movies called New Line Cinema. Also if you don't see Wes Cravens Shocker 1989. You may want to look into it it's a wild ride that is all I will say.
