Well, I mean, the other team knew they were there so the ref def didn't give them away. He DID distract them though, but from the looks of it, some of them may have already been out. It kind of sucks but there's really no other way for refs to do their job but to walk up to where people are.

I've always played sports and am a competitive person. From my experiences paintball and airsoft are a blast in moment but there's always cheaters and that just takes away from the competitiveness and integrity. First time seeing your channel and I applaud your sportsmanship but I've found there's more people not like you than there are, even on my team, and videos like this reinforce why I gave up on this sport. I play this in the UK all the time. Got to say sometimes the armour we wear doesn't transmit a hit. I've looked down a few times to see oppos colour on me without knowing. but called myself out as soon as I realise. The noise covers up the noise, so some honest blokes feel bad about being called cheats.

Always found the prevalence of plate carriers and body armour in both paintball and airsoft is detrimental to gameplay. By all means wear the toughest EDFE (in order of importance - eyes, dick, face, ears) protection you can get hold of, but for the sake of the odd welt its much better for gameplay if players wore thin layers.

Paintball is so different from when I played. I started in the 80s with a pmi 1 that looked like a shotgun and I wore Vietnam era military gear I bought at an army surplus store in Slidell by the pound. I even had a Vietnam era army helmet with the internal shell.

fun fact, the bagpipes being played actually happened at D-Day. his name was the Lone Piper and he walked up and down the beach in full view of the german guns and fire and never stopped playing his pipes, giving many soldiers enough hope and energy to attack the german outposts. the Lone Piper is re-created at all military tattoos (displays and parade of military) and all throughout scottish culture. Many people who survived D-day still remember to this day the tunes he played and he is often referenced as a 'madman' for his lack of care for any bullets coming his way.

Dude I went for my first time paintballing the other day at a place called pig (paintball is good, near Birmingham Alabama). We were playing on a map they called mounds which is basically just a bunch of dirt piles. My team decided we would have 3 or 4 of us try to flank them from the left while me and another guy went right and while they were focused on us have the remaining grouo go down the middle. Well my friend and I get to our positions in the left and we realize, only 3 people on the other team have moved out from behind the starting mound. So we decided to move up a little to get clear shots on them. We hit all of them like 3 times a piece but they didn't call hit. So we had to get the ref on them. It was annoying.
