I'm curious as to how you balance your personal projects with your job as aurora guide at the Observatory. Do you head out between live streams on the really good nights and catch Miss Aurora at theses other locations. And thank you for such stunning work

Now that's a really good question/observation I'm happy to answer Libby! Yes so I work around 15-16 hours per day and my days are filled with observatory activities. I spend most of my nights at the observatory giving workshops, helping people, explaining about the phenomenon they're watching. Sometimes when the night is going to be really good aurora and weather wise and only if I don't have other strings attached back at the ABO, I head out to shoot the whole night to make the most of it, shooting from different locations :) Hope that answers it! But the key is patience and hard work!!
