😆😆😆 omg Fun fact: having been lucky enough to watch the script evolve, I can tell you that the starter concept on this one was actually closer to "space goblin builds an exo-suit", and everything grew from there. The writers invented the elf character as a foil, and next thing I knew, hilarity ensued. It was amazing to see, really.

Two VA doing a collab is certainly not new to me, but a collab between two writers? This is something new indeed. I don't even know how exactly this can happen when it comes to writing a script. It was fun to listen to. But besides all the jokes and fun, there was, it seems to me, a very important idea that deserves attention. Why fight at all if you can just not fight? Great job by everyone involved in making this. Thank you.

It was so much fun watching the script come together! Seeing the comments between the two authors as they said things like, "omg, I just added something stupid" "nonono, put it back in!" Or "I named the goblin Private Buttercup" "please she's at least a colonel" Also, I love your point about the important idea in the script. This is the first time I've been lucky enough to work with Laika, but I've noticed Timeraft often has some kind of deeper message running through their scripts, even in their seemingly silliest work. I'm not surprised that you would recognize such a thing in this script, since you pay such close attention to things. I was so bogged down in the technical details that I didn't even really notice that myself. I'm glad you pointed it out! Thank you for the comment! ❤️

@@nightshadequeenasmr So it happened in the process of discussion in real time. It makes sense. I just wondered how there could be a collab of writers. Do they take turns writing lines, or does each write half of the script, or does one edit the other's script? In my head it was very strange and exotic, as if two artists were painting the same picture on the same canvas together. I don't remember seeing Laika's name before so I'm definitely not familiar with their work. But as for Timeraft, I completely agree and have long noticed that this is a person who leaves very mature thoughts hidden under the guise of an entertaining script.

One of the best things to come of this is getting to know Laika's work for sure! Gimme some time to go through her work and record some of her stuff, and then I'll be able to speak more in depth about it the way I can with some of my other writers. It's easy to see from the conversations I observed that she has a brilliant creative mind. Now that I've found her, I'm sure you'll be seeing more of Laika here!

She came along to trade for the scrap you collect, had to have come from somewhere. Presumably she could leave on that.
