I like the variation of subjects you've got going on right now. I like the multi-episode tank-specific builds, but I love the sprinkling of "one-offs" like this one in between, just to showcase some techniques or even do stuff that wouldn't easily fit in with armoured models.

I agree. I would rather have shorter weekly content than a long video every 2-3 weeks. I personally just don't care for the really long videos. I usually end up skipping through the slower parts of a build.

The streaking on the sides of this looks amazing, it compliments the chips nicely! I also think that this is some of the best plant life that you have ever made, it looks just like the Forrest near my house! I quite like these different videos, as it shows a wide range of applications for your techniques. I can certainly agree that it is satisfying to have one video to cover an entire project, I think that you should do what you think is best. A happy and comfortable modeler can produce the best work, so if you need to step away from an upload schedule sometimes, it would be okay. Keep up the great work!

For me one complete video is preferred, unless it has a complex diorama. Then its one for the subject and one for the diorama. Again, a matter of complexity. If it is a tutorial type, make a series, break it down per subject/objective. (Short videos into a playlist) Importantly, do what you enjoy most. Take as much time as you need. I am here for the QUALITY RESULTS you have put out over the years. Don’t really care about the frequency. Of course, more videos the better 😋 Keep em coming!

I really like the post-apocalyptic look. I would love to see other ruin scenes, perhaps a WWII tank wreck scene set in 1946 - 48 after nature has taken over. The idea of a civilian poking around the wreck would be exciting as well.

Loved how you achieved volume with moss by layering the foam AND the paint, it makes it pop. Also, adding 'mistery plants' was a very clever way to introduce some crisp verticals into the composition. Good eye! You could go for full feature videos instead of episodical. However, using time stamps (or chapters) would then be in order for all those who are into the "I don't have the time" hype. I'm glad you went for a non-weapon this time, too.

I really enjoyed this video as a change of pace. For one thing, it's nice having one self-contained video every now and then, but it's also nice to have something radically different. I'd actually like to see you do a plane or helicopter model tbh. The projects that end up with several videos are nice to get a more detailled look at your work process and how to get certain effects, but a short, sweet video that gives you payoff in one go is nice when one craves a bite-sized Night Shift video.

WOW ! What a GREAT job ! I have to admit that I've owned several VW Beetles in my life(I'm 67) - and one of 'em was an off-white(almost yellow) one with LOTS of rust. I remember watching the VW slowly become popular during the 1960s and it never seemed to change; they just slowly, incrementally improved. I also loved the German concept of a utilitarian "People's Car." One of my favorite VWs was one that I owned in Germany, when I was stationed there with the US Army. It was very light yellow, like the one in your video, and the doors were red-oxide primer, with softball-sized light-grey primer dots where the trim clips had been, so it was named "Spot." They're STILL one of my favorites.

I was surprised to see you building something that’s not a tank, let alone a civilian car! As always, it turned out incredible. I have an idea for you too… A German train from WWII hauling tanks that was blown up, maybe on a bridge. The diorama would include broken train tracks / a broken bridge, a train car, and some tanks rotting away in the bottom of a ditch / ravine. An extra addition could be civilians visiting the wreck about 20 years later, and having a 1960s truck that the civilians drove to the wreck site. Of course this is a idea of mine and your free to build as you please.

I enjoy all things you do, but as a modeler, I've lost interest in military models decades ago and mostly watch for techniques, scenery ideas and so on. So it is indeed great to watch you branch out into this kind of visual storytelling, even if it is a bit more cartooney. I wish I could someday see you go and try naval stuff. And I do not mean models of large steel boxes, but things made of wood. Texture heaven, right there. Could I tempt you in a half shipwrecked longboat or something? All the grime and decaying wood you could hope for :)

I seen the thumbnail and clicked fast .this actually looks like my grandfather's back yard. It was a lowland area that whould be swampy 6 months a year and had easily two dozen VWs I'd play in. The moss and sticks were always thick. And the tree limbs fell and whould crush the tops of the VW bugs. The floors were always almost gone (they're the first thing to rust away. Most of the time started under the battery). Long story short. This was nice model reminded me of where I'd play as a kid .

It's just such a nice surprise when one of my favourite channels finally posts a video after a while and a longer video of a finished project is just a nicer watch than what feels like a bunch of truncated clips. Also, personally I have enough going on in my life that I don't need constant entertainment from KZbin and I'd rather take the time to watch longer stuff.
