@@natalieeis9284 your right, she is posting videos to earn money, while growing her name and brand. Yet at the same time she’s educated and helping us. I just meant that even tho she looks extremely drained she brought up the strength to still do this. But ya it is for money.

@@22304abcabsolutely!!! The amount of sh*t I was putting onto my face thinking it’ll “cure everything” and it’s “magic”, bc I knew nothing about skincare and the actual science behind your skin and the ingredients that you put on your skin. Now I know where to put my money, what to avoid and I’m not falling for marketing and business trying sell me magic in a bottle 😒 ( tho we all know that’s retinol). Would love a full “skincare for beginners” series on developing a skincare routine from the ground up. How to decipher product ingredients, what you need vs what’s less essential, etc. Especially one that doesn’t break the bank!
@yolaghy
@yolaghy 3 жыл бұрын
first gotta define your skin type and what it needs, then it goes from simple routine to more complex with more products as you get used to commit to doing your skincare, what I learned for sure from shereen is, first, double cleanse if you wear makeup, moisturizer and sunscreen come last, and use sunscreen everyday, and reapply throughout the day. exfoliants, serums, eye creams, etc come in between if you use them. with different goals and uses for each. for ex: Vitamin C is better used for AM routine not at night and enhances your sunscreen's ability to protect from UV. Where's my money @DrShereenIdriss? No, send me products instead!

While you may get away with just one cleanser for both cleanses, it's really nice to begin with an oil-based (cleansing balms are my fav), because they don't get in to your eyes so you can be really thorough and gentle when massaging off make up; it's nice to then just remove everything with a warm damp flannel/muslin cloth. All of that is mess-free and very gentle. I then go in with a second cleanse with a water-based cleanser, but only need half a pump for whatever's left and don't take it too close to my eyes. Somehow that's much gentler and less messy than just using a water-based cleanser twice. And it's not like you're saving money when using just one cleanser for both cleanses anyway 😛 Thanks for the video and looking forward to hearing more on the serum!

Beauty pie Japan fusion is an amazing oil cleanser that doesn’t leave any trace of makeup or oil. I haven’t found any products comparable (never tried luxury skin care). I have dry skin so it does leave my skin a little dry, but not too striped.

I love your vibes and videos. I trust you because you’re honest and straightforward. I appreciate your honesty because most of the dermatologists don’t care and making money off our ignorance . Please stay like that ♥️ Can you talk about sleep and glow pillow? Does it really work? And silk pillowcases?

Its still an inferno here in my state so still using the Summer routine. Thank you for sharing your routine and amazing expertise with us. I use Cliniques Take the Day Off cleansing balm to remove my makeup. My go to cleanser is Vanicream. And I love that Aveeno moisturizer. Im very intrigued about your secret serum that you're using here. You're just awesome! I wish you all the best on your new private practice!

So try wearing a hair scrunchy on each wrist when washing your face. I too hate the water dripping down my arms. 😣 this trick works for me. Also when life gives you lemons 🍋 - wear them on your jammies! 😂 Love your helpful videos 🙏🏻

I use the bioderma micheller water 💦 for almost 20 years....I love it also I like the jelly cleansers but it makes the under eyes area a little dry and puffy , specially in winter ❄️....xxxx

Always looking forward to your amazing content. Just wanted to ask that is the Vanicream cleanser not good for all seasons? You’ve recommended it in every video of yours..

I think it depends on your skin type. My daughter and I use it all year round but our skin is not the same as everyone elses of course.

I recommend the milk makeup vegan cleanser. It’s the best hybrid cleanser I’ve ever tried, perfect as the first, last or both steps.

I do Bioderma Sensibio H20 followed by the Aveeno Calm and Restore cleanser. My skin is easily irritated and dehydrated with rosacea but hates oils. I'm starting to make some of my summer to fall changes - switching from Metrogel to Metrocream, running air purifier humidifiers, switching from a liquid sunscreen to a cream sunscreen. I might have to add a serum in. I still plan to use the Aveeno Calm and Restore Gel Cream as moisturizer and I'm using Differin per my dermatologist.

Cereve normal to oily skin foaming cleanser, amazing. I married it, definitely washes off sunscreen and makeup in one cleanse, but doesn't leave my skin dry at all, not even in the winter. My skin is not even oily type. Holy grail

I think in another video you asked followed for brands of cleansers that remove makeup as well. I use philosophy purity cleanser. It removes my makeup and hardly anything leftover for a double cleanse.

Hi Shereen, I have discovered your KZbin channel a week ago when I was searching the reason of my very dry skin. Your video of hyaluronic acid shocked me. I removed all products containing it. My skin felt great instantly, not dry at all. Wauu. I’m going to stick with you-:) Will you ship your secret serum also to Australia?
