Oh Bisscute, now you HAVE to listen to their version of High Hopes (live). Not only is Marko singing, but Empu is on fiiiire. To be honest, I think that is the best performance of every band member, but then all in one song. Trust me, you will not regret it :).

I know you're a fan of Marko singing, you said that before. So I would suggest htat you check out High Hopes with Marko singing and Emppu doing one of his longest solos - just brilliant! Don't be disappointed after the first - the 2nd will come 😀 You might know the original from Pink Floyd, this is a tribute (not a cover). Even some Pink Floyd fans have said that they like the Nightwish version just as good, if not better.

I saw AFTER FOREVER with Floor in November 2002 in Cologne as the opening act for Nightwish. Funny, right? ❤

Where much music (metal or other) can tend to be formulatic (guitar riffs and drum solos) Nightwish is anything but. Everyone does what is needed without having to be the “star”. Floor may be the front person and perceived as the star but she totally realizes and appreciates that it is the presence of all of them performing together at the very highest level that creates the Nightwish vibe and excellence. The juxtaposition of her insane range and presence and this bands hard hitting insane talent is incredible Absolutely kickass. Kai in “Beast Mode” on the drum kit…….as usual🤘

Empuu has definitely asked for longer solos, but that’s not Tuomas’ thing. One of my favorite Empuu quotes is that every good song should begin with a guitar solo and then have two more guitar solos in it. In other words, there won’t be any good songs on this album either. 😂

Hi Bisscute, long time no see. So I think there is still quite some stuff from Human Nature you have not seen yet. There is NO live material from Yesterwynde, because they are not touring the album. Next concert will be after releasing next album in 2026 (if we are lucky)

We all wish to see them live, unfortunately we have to wait at least another year as everyone except empu is touring already next year. When tuomas is ready they will toour again. In the mean time there are realy good live performances available to enjoy from Epica or Ayreon 😉🤘

Just subscribed about 1 month ago. Don't get on here very much, but I was looking through the music you have reacted to, and I noticed a lack of The White Stripes. Should check them out. 2 person band out of Detroit, Michigan. Came out in 1997, and done in 2011. Some notable songs are - Icky Thump, Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground, 7 Nation Army. Nice reaction biss, there bands very theatrical, some tasty soles with tha orchestra would make it more spectacular, but thats something you can always fill in at any time in Concert, shes a dynamic singer, if you want to hear some shreading with lots of short soles, listen to meaga deaths song "hanger 18" that song blows everyone's mind when you hear it,i hope you love spain ❤😊
